𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯 1 𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘥𝘦 1
There were the Diaz's driving down the road on their way to the valley. Brooklyn Diaz did not wanna leave Riverside, she didn't have a whole lot of friends over there but the ones she had she didn't wanna leave.
A few minutes later they pulled into their new called home. They opened the door and you could clearly see the disappointment on Brooklyn's face. "Come on mija let's go unpack" Carmen said _______________________________________
The next morning Brooklyn came out of her room and saw Miguel messing with the sink. "Hey, what are you doing?" Brooklyn said "Our sink isn't working right, I think it has something to do with the water pressure." Miguel said. Brooklyn just rolled her eyes, "Listen Brooke, I know you're not very happy that we moved but, just try to like it, for me please." Said Miguel "Fine" Brooklyn muttered. Miguel smiled and said "Come on let's go check the mail."
Miguel opened the mail with Brooklyn beside him, Miguel's landed eyes on someone taking out the trash he then grabbed Brooklyn's hand and pulled her along with him
"Hey i'm Miguel this is Brooklyn our family just moved into 109." The man then said "Great. More immigrants" Brooklyn was shocked by his words but none the less said "Actually we're from riverside" Miguel then carried on and said "I was wondering if you were having trouble with your water pressure, cause I know sink's being weird right now and-" Brooklyn then cut him off and said "Oh, bottles go in the blue bin." The man just ignored Brooklyn and dumped it all in the dumpster, "Listen Menudo, I've lived in this shithole for over ten years. Pipes don't work, the fountains full of piss. The only good thing here is that I don't have to talk to anybody." The man said. Brooklyn sighed, the man finished by saying, "But nice knowing you" Miguel then finished the conversation with, "Ok well.. have a nice day I guess." The man then got in his car and drove away.
The twins started walking back to their apartment, "Well that went great" stated Brooklyn, Miguel just glanced at her and shook his head, they walked back into their apartment, ________________________________________
Later that night Miguel and Brooklyn went to the store. The twins were going into the store when they saw the guy from earlier "Where's the Pepto-Bismol?" Brooklyn asked in Spanish to the cashier "Over there" replied the cashier in Spanish. Miguel and Brooklyn walked over to the isle and got what they needed.
The teens walked over to the cashier, Miguel then spoke "My grandma's not feeling well." The man from earlier then replied with "Didn't ask. C'mon, what's Spanish for "Just give me a damn slice"? The cashier then turned to Brooklyn and Miguel and said in Spanish "Fucking idiot." Brooklyn smiled, "He probably has a little dick." he said in Spanish again Brooklyn stiffled a laugh. The man interrupted by saying "What did you just say?" The man then turned to the teens and repeated "What did he just say?" Brooklyn then replied with,"You don't wanna know."
The man cut her off and said, "I know it's something bad, just tell me." Miguel then started to answer, Uh, he said you have a tiny..." And proceeded to point down, Then the man realized, and said, "He said I have a tiny wang?" He then directed his next words towards Brooklyn and Miguel, "Tell him he has a tiny wang." The cashier then replied with, " I speak english asshole." "Oh really." The man cut him off, then threw the cash at the cashier, snatched the pizza out of his hand and walked out the door.
Brooklyn caught eye of her favorite candy and said excitedly, "Miggy they have my favorite candy!" Miguel gave Brooklyn a smile and a five dollar bill, "Go get the candy" Brooklyn smiled at her twin and nodded her head, Brooklyn then made her way over to the candy got some for herself and her twin then headed back over to the cashier and payed.
Brooklyn then came outside to a group of boys pushing Miguel down, "What the hell, leave my brother alone jackasses." Brooklyn said, all eyes snapped to her, "Well, Well, Well, what do we have here." one of the boys said, "Leave her alone." Miguel said, Brooklyn proceeded to walk over to Miguel, the group of boys picked up the pepto-bismol, one of the boys said, "Someone has frickin' diarrhea." "Hey maybe we should call them "rhea number one" and "rhea number two". One of the boys said, Miguel and the boys just started saying things back and forward, all the sudden one started to pour the pepto-bismol all over Brooklyn and Miguel's head. They started pushing Miguel around while Brooklyn was just frozen their in shock.
"Hey" said the man from earlier, all eyes looked towards him "Watch the car man." The man said Miguel then dragged Brooklyn over to the side with him, while the man, and the group of teenagers started fighting. Brooklyn was in awe, "Holy shit, how did you-" Miguel started to say but was cut off by one of the teenagers tackling the man to the ground, and they continued fighting. Then they heard police sirens, Miguel and Brooklyn were trying to tell the police officers it wasn't his fault but they wouldn't listen.
Miguel and Brooklyn went back home, as soon as they walked through the door they were greeted by Carmen, "what took yo-" she stopped mid sentence when she saw there appearances, "oh, what happened?" Brooklyn cut her off by mumbling, "It's nothing" Carmen and Miguel could clearly see how upset she was as she ran to her room. After that night all Brooklyn wanted to do was learn how to fight back __________________________________
The next day Miguel and Brooklyn sat on the water fountain waiting for the man to get back from the police station, The twins saw the man's car pull up and they both ran towards it, "Hey we just wanted to say thank you." Miguel said, "Yeah, if you didn't help i'm pretty sure Miggy would be dead meat." Brooklyn added, "All right, well, you said it." The man said, "So, last night, was that like, Tae Kwon Do, or jujitsu or MMA or somthing?" Miguel questioned, It's karate. Old School karate." Said the man, "Do you think you could teach us?" Brooklyn asked "What? No." The man said, "Come on. When School starts, those guys will make our lives miserable." Brooklyn stated.
"It's not my problem." the man fired back. "Look if we just knew a little bit of what you knew, then we would be-" Started Miguel, but was cut off by the man saying, "Forget it!, I don't do karate anymore all right? Besides, I need to find a job." "Well, you could open your own karate school." Miguel tried, "It's called a dojo." The man said, "You could open your own dojo!" Brooklyn stated. "Look i'm not getting into this with you two, alright i'm not even sure i'm aloud to be around kids right now. Alright you want my advice? Stop being so annoying, maybe you'll stop getting your ass kicked." The man said and then walked away. "ok" Brooklyn muttered, then walked back to her apartment with her twin by her side. ___________________________
Later that day Brooklyn and Miguel went to take out the trash, they turned around to be met with the man. "Are you sure your ready?" he asked the twins, "Cause once you go down this path, there's no turning back." He finished, the twins glanced at each other and Brooklyn spoke up, "You're gonna be our karate teacher?" "No." the man said, "I'm gonna be your sensei." Miguel and Brooklyn glanced at each other and smiled. _________________________
