"Eat something you'll feel better." Brooklyn said to Miguel as the twins, Aisha, Eva, Demetri and Hawk were at the park. I told you i'm not hungry, Brooke." Miguel said to his sister. "I think your over reacting." Demetri said, "I'm not overreacting, I know what I saw." Miguel said as Brooklyn sighed feeling bad for Miguel. "All right, so you saw her eating dinner with some chode." Hawk said as Brooklyn turned around to look at him, Hawk walked over to the 4, "It's probably just her brother or something."
"No, dude, brothers don't look at their sisters like that." Miguel said to Hawk. "Depends what part of the country you're in." Eva said, Brooklyn looked at her, "That's not helping." "Well it's true, I saw that someone married there brother." Eva replied, Brooklyn rolled her eyes playfully at her friend. Hawk couldn't help, but to stare at Brooklyn, the way her hair blew in the wind, the way her eyes gleamed in the sunlight, she was perfect in his eyes, he knew he had feelings for her but he'd never admit it.
Hawk snapped out of his trans when Aisha exclaimed, "That little bitch." Brooklyn and Eva turned around, "What?" the two asked in sync. "You know that video I posted of me breaking that board?" Aisha questioned. Eva and Brooklyn nodded. "Look what Yasmine commented." Aisha said as she showed the phone to all of them, "Oh shit." Eva muttered. "I've gotta do something." Aisha said.
"How bout we kidnap her, and have my boy Rico tattoo "bitch" on her face." Hawk said, Brooklyn looked at him like he was crazy, "Calm down, Hawk." Demetri said emphasizing the word "Hawk". "All right, I hear how you're saying it, and I don't like it." Hawk said to Demetri.
"Wait, wait, wait, i've got a better idea." Aisha said showing the phone to everyone, Yasmine was having a party at the canyon. "Wait, Brooklyn weren't you invited." Miguel said as everyone turned to her, "Yeah, Yasmine was gonna pick me up and drive me down there." Brooklyn said. "Well tell her you don't need a ride, we're gonna strike first." Aisha said to Brooklyn ________________________
The group of teens were in the store grabbing food and drinks, Brooklyn and Eva were over in the candy section picking up every candy in sight. "Wanna come back to my house after the party and watch the new Taylor Swift documentary." Brooklyn asked Eva. "Is that even a question?" Eva asked sarcastically. Brooklyn laughed, the two stopped picking up candy once both of their hands were full, the two walked over to the cashier at the same time everyone else did. The two piled all the candy on the counter as everyone looked at the two like they were crazy.
"Shit, we forgot the ice cream." Eva said to Brooklyn. "We did." The two ran over to the freezer got a couple pints of ice cream and ran back over to the counter, the two piled the ice cream on there as everyone was staring at them. The two walked away from the counter and waited to see if Hawk could get the alcohol. "Eva, We should've gotten slushees." Brooklyn said quietly. "We still have time." Eva said, they ran to the back got slushees and put them on the counter.
Before Brooklyn could walk away she was pulled into hawks side, his arm around her waist, "This is my wife, and that's my freaking kid right there." Hawk said pointing to the back where all the other teens were. Brooklyn smiled awkwardly not knowing what was going on, "Yeah I still need to see it, required by law." The cashier said, Brooklyn was about to walk away but Hawk gripped her waist tighter and he pulled her closer. "Oh yeah, for sure. Just upholding the law. Its all good." Hawk pulled out his fake ID and gave it to the cashier. "Whatever." the cashier mumbled and handed it back to Hawk. ____________________________
The teens were now all partying, Eva and Brooklyn were talking about their plans for that night. "I feel like i'm being watched is that weird?" Eva said to Brooklyn. The two girls started looking around and saw a boy looking at Eva. "Go over there." Brooklyn said to Eva, "No i'm not leaving you alone." Eva said. "It's fine, it's obvious he's checking you out, go over and talk to him." Brooklyn encouraged Eva, Eva nodded and walked over there.
Brooklyn was only standing there for a couple seconds when she heard her name being called, she turned around and saw Moon standing there with a smile, "Hey!" Brooklyn greeted, "Hey, I feel like I haven't seen you in forever." Moon said joyfully. Brooklyn laughed, "I'm just super busy, I guess." As if on cue "You belong with me" by Taylor Swift started playing, the two both gasped, "I love this song." The two said at the same time, they laughed. "You like Taylor Swift?" Moon questioned, "Are you kidding, I love Taylor Swift." Brooklyn replied. The two started dancing and laughing.
A little later that night Moon went to go talk to some of her friends leaving Brooklyn alone, she looked around and saw Hawk sitting on a log by himself. Brooklyn walked over there and sat down. "Hey, I haven't seen you all night." Hawk whispered in her ear sending shivers all down her spine. "Yeah well Eva is getting herself a man, so I have no one else to talk to." Brooklyn replied making eye contact with him. The two looked at eachother for a few seconds they slowly started leaning in, Hawk closed the gap and the two kissed.
After a few seconds they pulled apart, "Um, Brooke , I really like you, like a lot, and I was wondering if maybe you wanted to be my girlfriend." Hawk said nervously, Brooklyn smiled at him and nodded, Hawk smiled and they started leaning in again but were stopped by Eva grabbing Brooklyn's hand and dragging her towards the car, "What are you doing?" Brooklyn questioned. "We're leaving." Eva replied, Brooklyn looked at her confused, "What, Why?" "Cause that guy is a douchebag." Eva said dragging Brooklyn up the hill.
The two went back to Brooklyn's apartment and were sitting in Brooklyn's room. The Taylor Swift documentary just ended and the two were eating a bunch of candy. "So, you wanna tell me why that guy was a douchbag." Brooklyn said to Eva, "No, I don't really wanna talk about it." Eva responded, "Okay" Brooklyn said. "So, did anything happen there?" Eva questioned, "Um.. Me and Hawk may or may not have kissed, and we may or may not be dating now." Brooklyn said sheepishly to Eva. Eva's eyes went wide, "Yes! Finally!" Brooklyn just laughed at her best friends reaction. ______________________
