"Hey Prongs, you ever wonder how Dumbledore knows where we are during the summer? You think he's stalking us?" Sirius asks when he and Regulus got a letter from Hogwarts addressed to the Potter household.
"Actually Padfoot, I've never thought about that"
"What is it with your group and nicknames? Prongs, Padfoot, Moony, Wormtail, and the Marauders?"
"Awee little Black pays attention to us just enough to know our nicknames!"
"You'll know when you get older" Sirius teases his brother, patting the top of his head. Regulus scrunches his face up at the pat and moves his head to try and bite his brother's hand.
"Ahh!! James!! You see this! He just tried to bite my bloody hand off! It was that or he was trying to give me rabies!!!"
"The one who's most likely to get rabies here is you Snuffles"
"Shut your trap Prongs"
"What's all this bickering about? You lot haven't even eaten breakfast yet and you're already trying to bite each other's heads off" Mrs.Potter huffs as she walks into the living room, her arms crossed.
"Regulus actually tried biting my hand, not my head"
"You know what I mean, Sirius. Now who would like breakfast before you three send letters to your friends?"
"Why would we do that?" Regulus asked curiously. Well, he didn't have any friends to send letters to anyways but why would he send one? Ah right, Diagon Alley.
"Diagon Alley dear. You can't go shopping alone"
"He can shop with us mum. Remus and Peter wouldn't mind" James smiles at his mother before turning to smile at Regulus. At least this time, the Slytherin allowed himself to look at James. He wanted him to come along? Sure, he was flattered but would that really be the best idea?
"Wonderful, now breakfast. It's on the table." Mrs.Potter says before the four of them walk to the dining table.
After they eat breakfast, the three boys go up stairs, two starting letters and the other continuing to read his book.
