Scene 1:
After returning to Perth, Chase was transferred to the hospital, as planned. He's remained there the entire time, with no visits, since he didn't want any. And he's been having classes, to finish high school there. Right now, it's a November morning. Chase just woke up, and is now having breakfast, and talking to a nurse.
Nurse: Looks like things will be different today, Mr. Dangel.
Chase: Really? How?
Nurse: There'll be a new student.
Chase: A new student?
Nurse: Yep. There's a new kid at this hospital, he's in the senior year as well, and he's gonna have classes with you.
Chase: Wow... Finally, a classmate. It's been kinda weird, being the only student. Kinda makes me feel like I'm being homeschooled... Which is sorta am, since I live here now.
Nurse: Good. But I should warn you, though. He's here because he is... Well, crazy.
Chase: Oh... Shall be fun.
Nurse: But then again, the teacher will tell you how to deal with him. Good luck, Mr. Dangel.
[The nurse leaves. Chase finishes having breakfast, and heads to a room, where he'll have classes. For some reason, there is only one chair. Eventually, the teacher comes in]
Teacher: Good morning, Mr. Dangel. Ready for today's class?
Chase: Yeah... Listen, I heard there's gonna be another student.
Teacher: Oh yeah. His name is Murray.
Chase: And is it true that he's... Well, how do I put this nicely...
Teacher: Crazy? Yeah. But don't worry, he's harmless.
Chase: Shouldn't we need another chair, then?
Teacher: No, I don't think it will be needed.
[Murray eventually comes in, in a wheelchair, at a surprisingly high speed. He has really long brown hair, and beard, both clearly unshaved for a long time. For whatever reason, he seems to be in a really good mood]
Murray: Hey, wassup, Archie (offers his hand to Chase, for a high-five)!
Chase: (confused) Woah, I'm not Arch... Nevermind (high-fives him).
Murray: We're gonna nail this freakin' class, Archie.
Chase: Yeah, I see that.
Teacher: Okay Murray, calm down a bit, go to your place, and let's start the class.
Murray: No need to say twice, ma'am.
[Murray "parks" his wheelchair next to Chase's chair, and the class starts]
Teacher: Alright, kids. So, today we're gonna look at the Northern Hemisphere. Can any of you tell me where the Strait of Gibraltar is located?
Murray: (raises his hand, excited) Oh, I know this one! I know this one!
Teacher: Yes, Murray.
Murray: Spain and Morocco.
Teacher: That is correct.
Murray: (turns to Chase) See, Archie? I'm the king of this.
Chase: ... (surprised) Impressive.
Teacher: Alright, let's go on.
Scene 2:
For a crazy guy, Murray is actually surprisingly smart, and managed to impress Chase during the class. Right now, the class is over, and Chase is on his way out of the room. But so is Murray.
