Friends to the End

School Day

The next morning Ross' dad woke up the three friends for them to get ready for school. The three of them got dressed and had some breakfast. Then they packed their backpacks and Ross' dad drove them to school. Ross's dad dropped them off and they started walking up to the building until they were stopped by the playground by Kalven and Kallum.

"Well what do we have here?" Kallum inquired, smirking at the three kids.

"Oh hey Calcium!" Ross exclaimed happily.

"Oh hey Ross. Why're you hanging out with Stammer?" Kallum asked.

"Stammer?" Ross questioned.

"Yeah. Him." Kallum replied pointing to Robert.

"His name isn't stammer, it's Robert." Ross stated.

"Wait, don't tell me your friends with that loser." Kallum said. Ross and Roy both stood in front of Robert protectively.

"Kallum, he's not a loser. He is my friend. He lives with me and Roy at my house now. Roy was being abused so he lives with me and Robert's mom recently died so he also lives with me." Ross responded looking at Kallum and Kalven, "I suggest you two start being nicer to him. I'm sure you don't want me to end our friendship, do you now?"

"No! Of course we don't want you to end our friendship!" Kalven exclaimed.

"I agree with Kalven." Kallum said, "We're really sorry Robert. Losing someone close to you is hard. Really hard. Kalven and I would know."

"Good to see that you two are being nice to my brother and his friends." Kevin said as he walked up behind Roy, Ross, and Robert.

"O-oh H-hi K-Kevin!" Kalven exclaimed hiding behind Kallum. Kallum looked afraid.

"Calcium? Kal? Are you guys okay?" Ross asked.

"As long as we don't get on Kevin's bad side I think we are." Kallum replied. Ross looked at Kevin.

"You know them?" Ross inquired. Kevin nodded.

"They used to pick on Roy. Then I showed up." Kevin responded.

"Ohhhh... so you're kinda like a bodyguard for Roy." Ross stated.

"Pretty much yeah. Now I'll protect you and Robert too if needed." Kevin said. Then the school bell rang.

"Better get going. None of us wanna be late for class." Kallum said. He and Kalven waved goodbye walking to their class. Roy, Ross, and Robert quickly made their way to class and Kevin went to his.

~Spooky Timeskip to Lunch~

Class for everyone had been pretty boring but now it was lunchtime. The three friends got their lunch and then looked for a place to sit. Kallum saw Ross and waved him over. Ross got his two friends to follow him and the sat down with Kallum and Kalven. Kevin showed up soon after and they all started eating lunch. It was nice for a while. They were just eating and chatting about random things until the Spooky Bullies showed up.

"Oh how cute. The kids have gotten themselves a friend group." Skid hissed looking at the six friends. Pump was standing by him like always.

"Get lost Skid. You know you're not welcome to sit with us." Kallum said looking at Skid and Pump.

"True, but taunting you guys is still fun." Skid replied. He then grabbed Roy and Robert's lunch trays and threw them to the ground. Then he grabbed Ross's and purposefully dumped it all over his clothes before pouring his milk carton on Ross's head. Then he and Pump laughed and walked away. The whole cafeteria had been watching the scene and a lot of them were laughing at the poor kids. Ross was at the point of tears and his friends felt so bad for him. Kalven and Kallum went and got one of the staff to report the incident and Kevin took the three friend to the office so they could call Ross's dad. Ross's dad showed up shortly after and took Robert, Ross, and Roy home. Kevin stayed behind to talk to the principal about what happened since he requested for him to stay. Once the three friends got home Ross took a shower and got some clean clothes. Then his dad made lunch for the three of them since they didn't get to eat all of theirs. Then he let them go up to Ross's room. They hung out for a bit then out of nowhere Ross asked "Do ya guys like video games?"
