(Thanks to some comments let me make this perfectly clear... ROSS ROY AND ROBERT ARE NOT BROTHERS THEY JUST LIVE TOGETHER DUE TO THINGS MENTIONED IN THE PREVIOUS CHAPTERS) (If you dislike the idea of six year old Roy liking his friend then you can simply stop reading this book)

Roy, Ross, and Robert all had their own rules that they put together for the truth or dare. They all agreed that they didn't want to go outside the treehouse since it was dark out. They also decided they didn't want to make loud noises since it was late. Any question involving their parents were also out of the question. The same rule applied for Roy's uncle, no questions about him. Robert said he wouldn't feel comfortable answering any questions about his speech issues and such and Ross and Roy agreed not to ask about it. Then they decided Roy would ask first.

"Okay, Ross, truth or dare?" Roy asked.

"Truth." Ross replied.

"What animal or group of animals do you obsess over?" Roy questioned.

"Frogs and other amphibians" Ross stated in response.

"What is an amphibian?" Robert inquired.

"They're creatures like newts, salamanders, toads, and frogs of course." Ross responded.

"Oh, okay." Robert replied.

"Truth or dare Robert?" Ross asked.

"Dare." Robert said.

"I dare you to eat a whole pack of animal crackers!" Ross exclaimed.

"That's easy." Robert said grabbing a pack of animal crackers.

"With no apple juice." Ross said. Robert gasped.

"That's more of a challenge." Roy commented.

"Well a dare is a dare." Robert said eating an animal cracker, "Roy truth or dare?"

"Hmmmm truth!" Roy exclaimed.

"What is your biggest fear?" Robert asked.

"Easy! It's-" Roy got cut off by thunder. His eyes went wide. "Y-yup. Nature kn-knows my b-biggest fear..." He said softly.

"Your biggest fear is thunder?" Robert asked. Roy nodded.

"Do you wanna go inside so we're not sleeping in the storm?" Ross asked.

"N-no it's o-okay. We're inside th-the treehouse. We'll b-be okay." Roy stuttered.

"Okay, if you wanna go in though we can." Ross said as Robert closed the windows of the treehouse.

"C-can we just h-hang out. I-I don't really w-wanna play tr-truth or dare a-anymore." Roy stated.

"Yeah we can just hang out." Ross replied softly sitting down in a bean bag closer to Roy. Robert sat down on the other side of Roy in another beanbag. Roy felt a little safer with his friends on either side of him. Ross suggested they just watch another movie or something but then the power cut out. Luckily it didn't go dark in the treehouse because the star lights that lit up the treehouse were battery powered. Robert then had his own idea.

"Guys how about we make our own comic?" He suggested.

"That sounds awesome!" Roy exclaimed.

"That does sound really cool." Ross stated.

"I could come up with the story." Robert said.

"I could write it down." Ross commented.

"And I could draw the pictures!" Roy exclaimed happily.

"Fantastic! Let's do it!" Robert said excitedly. That's what they did. They started working on the comic. Robert came up with a story with the three of them time traveling to the time of the dinosaurs. Roy got really excited about the dinosaur part. Their time traveling machine was a space ship and they could use it to return home whenever they wanted. As the thunderstorm continued outside, the trio was in their own little world making an entire comic based off of their interests. After a while Robert fell asleep while working on the comic. Ross and Roy just smiled and covered Robert with a blanket and put a pillow under his head. Then Roy and Ross went over to their sleeping bag and Ross turned off the star lights. They were quiet for a little while, until Roy broke it.

"Hey Ross?" Roy said.

"Yeah Roy?" Ross asked.

"Do you like me?" Roy questioned.

"Of course I do Roy! You're my friend!" Ross quietly exclaimed.

"Okay." Roy said.

"Why?" Ross asked.

"No reason! Goodnight Ross!" Roy exclaimed quickly as he turned on his side.

"G'night Roy." Ross said softly. Roy laid there quietly feeling kind of confused. He was young, he didn't understand how he felt. He thought Ross was cute and he always wanted to be with him, but that's what friends were right? No, Roy could tell this was different. It felt way different than just friends. He wanted to hug Ross close and cuddle him. He realized after a few agonizingly slow minutes that he was in love.
