Chapter 14 : U.A. Sports Festival Beginnings

*A few minutes before Izuku's grand entrance

The class can be seen preparing for the festival, the boys are stretching, and the girls are motivating each other to be better.

"I'll improve myself, so I can stand side by side with you" thought all the girls as they prepare to leave for the stadium.

The boys were a little more quiet. Most students still felt bad that Izuku will not get to partcipate, Todoroki wanted to prove himself and ask Izuku a few questions, but since he isn't here Todoroki will have to just show his powers like usual. Bakugo was a bit sad at Izuku not being here, he wanted to compete against Izuku, his rival, but yet he got himself into trouble again. Bakugo looked at Todoroki standing at the door.

"I'll beat that Icy Prince then I'll go for a round with you, Deku." Bakugo then prepared walked ahead to stand next to Todoroki, who glanced at him but didn't pay no mind.

"Alright! Time for Class 1-A!" yelled Present Mic as the crowd cheered. The class walked out to meet with the public who has come to watch. There were parents, staffs, pro heroes, and even the media were broadcasting the event.

"Welcome students, it is time for you to show what you have to offer to the world. Your abilities, flaws, and everything else will be shown to the others. Plus Ultra!" said Midnight as she walked on to the podium, earning the the looks of other students and onlookers. She is in her skintight hero costume, wanting to show Izuku what she "has to offer" but he wasn't here.

"Originally a student was to give a pledge here, but after the recent Villian att-" Midnight didn't finish her sentence as a bright white light came down from the sky.

The other classes, parents, and especially the press watched carefully at the white beam. As the light dissapeared, a certain figure walked out much to the surprise of the class and the staff.

"Midori?" asked Mina as she saw a familiar muscular frame, a spiky black mop of hair, and that smile that he always put on. The girls started to feel joy as they saw Izuku smiling back at them.

"Hey Guys! Sorry for almost dying back there, I'm here now! Can't wait to get started." said Izuku as he gives a thumbs up to his classmates.

"Damn Deku! Always pulling this kind of crap on me, just sent me a text ahead or something you idoit" said Bakugo as he smirked at his childhood companion's return.

Todoroki just stood there, surprised but still stoic. He knows that he'll have to defeat Izuku to get to his goal, he'll show his father that he's no tool. "I am not losing to you, Midoriya." said Todoroki.

Izuku winked at Midnight as he walked up the stage, causing her to blush a bit. "Always knows how to please a lady, you little charmer " Midnight muttered as Izuku stood at the Mic.

"Hey everyone! Let's do our best to show what we can do! Man, I can't wait to see what you guys can do. Let's give this our best shot!" said Izuku as he waved to the crowd.

The crowd erupted with cheers as the press took photos of Izuku.

"What a speech! Let's get to the first event then!" said Present Mic as the stadium gates started to move, revealing an open area. The area was a long yet narrow hall that leads to the open area. That's right, it's the Obstacle Course!

The students watched at what is in front of them. Midnight then spoke up "Alright! Students will have to traverse this 4km course. Only the top 42 gets to advance to the next round"

Izuku looked at the course, maybe he can actually got first without having to use the instant transmission. He didn't want to show all of his moves right away, not even the Kaio Ken, so he'll have to plan this out.
