Chapter 15 :Burn the Ice away! Awaken the Golden Warrior

The crowd cheered once again as Present Mic announced the 3rd and final segment of the festival, The Battle Tournament. It allows students to show off their combat prowess and abilitied in a 1v1 battle, the most exciting part of the Festival by far.

Things doesn't seem to go normally however, Ojiro and a few students have withdrawl from their spots as they did not deserve the chance to be here. The empty spots allowed a few more students to enter such as Ibara Shiozaki.

"The first battle will be..... Izuku Midoriya! Vs Hitoshi Shinso!" annoucned Present Mic as the screen showed Izuku's and Shinso's names.

"Midoriya, come here for a bit" said Ojiro as he dragged Izuku away.

"What is it?" asked Izuku, what kind of info does Ojiro have that requires such a discreet location to talk about

"About Shinso's quirk, I think it's triggered through talking. I passed out when I talked to him, but a bump managed to knock me out from it, do not respond to him." said Ojiro as Izuku nodded.

"Talking? That's a weird quirk, do you remembered what happened?" asked Izuku as he pulled out his notebook from thin air.

"No, it was all fuzzy for me. I don't recall anything." Ojiro then put his hands on Izuku's shoulders.

"Win this one for me, Midoriya" said Ojiro. Izuku gives him a thumbs up as his name was called.

"Our students have entered the ring! Are both students ready?" asked Midnight.

Izuku and Shinso nodded and Midnight signalled the beginning on the match.

"So, you're the guy with the super powerful quirk right? Must be pretty lucky." said Shinso. Izuku just got in his stance and didn't reply.

Shinso immediately knows that Ojiro told Izuku about his brainwash, so pressed a bit more "That tail guy told you huh? Seriously he's an idiot for resigning like that."

Izuku snapped "Don't bring him into -" Izuku's face suddenly went blank.

"Good job, you're done. Now walk out the arena" said Shinso. 

Izuku turned around and started slowly walking towards the edge of the arena.

"What? It seems that Midoriya is walking towards to edge! What is going on?" said Present Mic

The students on the stands are also surprised.

"Damn Deku, don't you dare lose!" yelled Bakugo

"Midori! Snap out of it!" yelled Mina

"Please fight it, Midoriya" said Lida 

"You must fight the guy like a man, Midori-bro!" yelled Kirishima

"Young Midoriya, you must not give up so easily!" said All Might who appeared to watch his s- favorite pupil.

*Inside Izuku's mind

Izuku is standing in his mindscape, he can't control his body, and he is losing the willpower to fight back.

'I can't feel anything' Izuku thought as he feel the foggy mindscape clouded him, he can't talk, and can't even tell his legs to stop.

Izuku metally apologized to Ojiro who warned him as he resigned himself.

"Is that how a Saiyan really fights? Look at what you just said to yourself, where's your sense of pride." A voice of Vegeta rang through his head.

'Vegeta-sama, I can't fight it. I'm going to lose' Izuku said back

"Because of some mind control? Didn't you remember what I said during training? You may take away our minds and our bodies....." said Vegeta
