Yo! Here comes the Earth's Newest Protector: Izuku Midoriya

Chapter 55: The Star that guides on.

Darkness. (no, it's not Bakugo watching Konosuba)

And then numbness.

And then pain, lots and lots of pain.

And then exhaustion.

And then a faint voice of Vegeta yelling 'Wake up, Dumbass!'

Izuku woke up, he inspected his surroundings, he recognizes that this is Recovery Girl's office and he's in one of the beds. Izuku sees that there are bandages around his bare chest that wraps around his entire back, and that he's really tired.

Izuku take a glance at the clock, it's 9 PM. But Nezu has held the brand-new Night Portion of the festival for the U.A. Cultural Festival so students can hang out and enjoy the various beautiful lights and stands that are filled with delicious food for the students and guests.

Izuku can hear his stomach rumbling, it has been a while since he last ate and using Ultra Instinct has drained almost all of his energy. Izuku got up as he winced in pain, his Gi is almost completely destroyed with only the lower half remaining intact with the top half and his shirt completely gone from the battle.

Izuku made his way towards the door as Recovery Girl walked in, looked at him, before almost passing out.

"How are you still walking after that!?" said Recovery Girl as she told him to sit down.

Izuku nervously laughed as he sat down and Recovery Girl inspected him, she is blown away by Izuku's recovery speed.

"Why? Was I that injured? I mean, I was sore and all bu-" Izuku is cut off as Recovery Girl pull out a sheet containing a list.

"Let's see, internal bleeding, concussions, bone fractures, torn muscles, All Might-level injuries at the body, and almost no stamina for me to use my quirk on. That bad enough for you?" said Recovery Girl.

Izuku nodded, thank god he was a Saiyan. Recovery Girl just told him to take it easy for now and let him off, apparently Nezu has told the class about how Izuku fought in the Tournament of Power and stopping Gentle for their sake, and that he 'Almost Died' from internal bleeding.

Izuku left the building to see the beautiful site of the festival being held in the night, it's like one of those Summer Festival episodes you see in an anime.

There are even a few students who are wearing yukatas! Mostly just girls trying to see if they're any guys that will ask them out to go walk around the festival together. He can even see Aizawa and Ms.Joke (who is in a yukata herself) walking together and , if you look really closely, holding hands.

It was just like one of those Romance Anime episodes, yeah. Izuku walked down the stairs as a few students starts to see the patched up Izuku and walked over to greet him. The students noted that Izuku is injured and gave him enough space that they can still ask for autographs or a personalized message.

Some of the girls all gathered around him in their yukatas as they ask for a group picture together with Izuku, which he happily complied, and just as they finished he then heard a familiar female voice.

"So....How's that wound doing, muscles?" asked Mei as she walked over.

Izuku turned around to see her and is caught off by her new outfit. Instead of her usual mechanic outfit that she always wear, Mei Hatsuma is wearing a magenta yukata with her hair neatly braided to make it look elegant.

Izuku is stunned by her new look as he looked at her, causing Mei to blush and turned away "See something you like?". 

Izuku snapped out of his thoughts as he just casually replied "You look nice, Hatsume.".
