Chapter 29: A Prelude to Conflict

After Bakugo's capture, Izuku was taken to a hospital to be healed by Recovery Girl.

Recovery Girl kissed Izuku on the cheek as his wounds began to heal, Izuku wakes up as he jumped out of the bed.

"Kacchan. Where is he?" asked Izuku as he looked at All Might and Recovery Girl.

All Might put his hands on Izuku's shoulder "I'm sorry Young Midoriya, but we can't seem to locate him yet". Izuku just stared at the window as he sat back down.

Izuku contemplated on what to do, he can't just teleport himself straight to Bakugo as that would risk his friend's life. He'll need a plan.

"All Might" said Izuku as he turned around to face him.

"What is it?"

"I will join you in the rescue."

*30 Minutes Later

All Might stood there as the faculty of U.A. thought about their current situation.

Nezu spoke up "Sending Midoriya in too will be a great assistance to us, but he's just a young man. He's already been through so much already." he looked serious as he continued "And there's also a threat of Him being behind this."

All Might put his hand on his wound as he remembered that day "Yes, but he-"

"No!" said Shoto as he barged in.

"Young Todoroki, what are you-"

"I am not letting you take Father for something like this! I won't risk losing him." said Shoto as he looked at All Might.

Nezu just looked puzzled "But Endeavor is already in the -. Oh wait, you mean the good one." as he realised who Shoto is talking about.

The door opened again to see Izuku walking in "Shoto, I've already made up my mind. I'll join the rescue team to save Kacchan." Izuku looked at Shoto as he looked down.

Shoto then looked back up as he walked out " I understand, good luck to you.". 

Izuku looked down at his hands as he clenched it "I'll save him, no matter the cost!". Izuku then received a message from King Kai.

'Izuku! I wanted to have a talk with you about something, it's important.'

"Midoriya, is something the matter?" asked Midnight.

Izuku just put his fingers on his forehead "Hold on, talking to god." as he vanished away to King Kai's planet.

*King Kai's planet

Izuku appeared to see King Kai, Shin Kai, Kibito Kai, and Fortuneteller Baba waiting for him.

"Come here for a bit, young warrior." said Kibito Kai. Izuku nodded as he walked over to greet him.

"Hey, what's up? You don't usually call me like that." said Izuku. King Kai didn't reply back as he just looked at Fortuneteller Baba.

The elder lady then walked up and discussed something with Izukuu, Izuku looked grim as he listened. 

"I'm sorry young man, but that is  all  I have to say." said Baba as she went back. Izuku looked at his hands as he thought back at all the times he spent with Bakugo, although the latter would always curse back, he can't lose his friend. 

"Then so be it, I'll go anyway." said Izuku as turned around to leave. Shin Kai called back first

"Izuku! Goku has suggested that you train here for a bit.He's at the Land of Kais" said Shin as Izuku nodded and teleported there.
