Chapter 61: The Final Saga Begins! A Mighty New Year.

*At Izuku's new home

It has been a few days since Christmas, Izuku is sleeping in his bed at 5 in the morning. Rei and Fuyumi opted to stay at their newly rebuilt Todoroki Household instead, thanks to Ochaco's parents. Izuku is sleeping soundly, he has been spending the past few days leading up to New Year with Shoto, Kota, and Eri.

Eri is still a bit scared of sleeping alone, so on random nights she will occasionally ask Izuku to stay with her or will snuck into Izuku's bed to sleep next to him. 

Kota is usually working on his theories till later in the night before falling asleep, focusing on deducting who the shippers that attacked Izuku are.

Shoto will either be helping Kota, or planning out the Perfect IzuRei operation. He doesn't need sleep, he needs answers.

It is the 31st of December, the final date of the year. Izuku and the others planned on meeting up at the dorms again to celebrate the countdown till midnight. He planned on going out to train with Goku first, apparently Goku has a good plan for him.

After getting up early and pulling the covers over Eri so she can sleep longer, Izuku headed to the Kitchen to cook something something for the kids before heading out to meet Goku later. Opting to make a simple complete breakfast with Eggs, toast, and some bacon, Izuku quickly got to work on the food as he pulled out the pans to start.

*A Few Minutes later

Izuku finished laying down the plates as he watched the news, apparently villain activity has seemingly dropped for some reason. Either something's wrong, or something major is coming, Izuku doesn't feel good at all. He called the kids down to eat just as he put on his Gi and was about to leave for patrol, Fuyumi will drive over and take them to UA. later where he will join in after finishing his duties.

After bidding farewell, Izuku left for Might Tower, now being rebuilt by a new construction company called 'Stark International' from the United States.

*A Few Hours later

Izuku is patrolling the area of Musutafu, he hasn't find anything as of today and it seems that villain activities seem to stop. Izuku encountered Edgeshot's team as they waved him over for a little chat.

"Hey kid, how're you doing?" asked Kamui Woods as he and Izuku shook hands.

"Eh, pretty boring day." said Izuku as he waved at Mt.Lady who immediately lit up at the sight of Izuku.

She quickly ran over as she grabbed Izuku "Hey there! Let's patrol together for a bit, just you and me." and leaned onto his shoulders.

Edgeshot was about to pull out the R*pe whistle until Kamui woods stopped him, "I want to see how things play out, let's have a bit of fun first.".

The Four patrolled together as an Ultimate Team, adding in Izuku's Superior Firepower, Extreme Durability, and his sheer mobility and teleportation skills has made the team even more powerful. 

They patrolled for a while, until Izuku realized that he needs to go to Goku which he quickly excluded himself to go and train.

*With Goku

Goku has contacted a special guest to help with their training, Former Angel and Whis' younger brother, Merus. Although Merus lost his angel powers after Goku's battle with Moro, he still retains the ability to use Ultra Instinct as a mortal albeit having to deal with the Stamina flaw like Goku.

Merus sat down "So Goku, tell me about the boy."

Goku thought for a bit "I guess.... He's like me but smarter. He has Vegeta's decisiveness and and brutal strength while still able to remain free from anger like me and you. I think you should be able to train him too.".
