Yo! Here comes the Earth's Newest Protector: Izuku Midoriya

Chapter 63 : A Step towards Destruction.

*With Izuku

Izuku is currently training with Merus again, hoping to get a grasp on Ultra Instinct. Izuku has unknowingly been improving his Super Saiyan Blue as he trained with Merus, even opting to take a day or two off to go train with Vegeta so he can acquire a new move.

Izuku blocked Merus from attacking with a blast as he dashed to the side to try and get a hit in, but Merus quickly struck him with a jab before using his leg to swat Izuku away.

"That's enough for now, Izuku. I have to go on galactic patrol. See you again soon." said Merus as he walked away.

Izuku sat down, he has left Endeavor in charge of his interns for a few days since he wanted to go train with Vegeta and Merus, Goku is a bit caught up with the Zenos so he can't help train Izuku. Izuku quickly called Whis to come take him to Vegeta for training.

*With Vegeta

Vegeta just got back from blowing up a planet, apparently there was a talking Hedgehog that can turn into 'Super Sonic' or something.

"Tch, Super Saiyan knock-off." said Vegeta as he grumpily sat dow.

The Oracle fish walked over "But Lord Vegeta, he needs seven Chaos Emeralds to transform. You don't need anything. It's different."

Vegeta snapped at the fish "Oh really!? Then his fur turns golden and he can fly!? That's not Super Saiyan!?" as he got back to his usual mad self.

The planet has been a lot quieter lately, with Lord Beerus retiring and perishing away to become one with the cosmos there's not much chatter around. Vegeta has fully embraced his role and is performing admirably as a fully fledged God Of Destruction.

Izuku has also come to visit a little bit less, with Shippers attacking him left and right, the threat of an all-out war breaking out from the villains, and looking after kids Izuku has been stretched thin. It's not like Vegeta isn't aware of the Ship wars, the oracle fish has already foretold what is going to happen already.

"Individuals from different time and dimensions are coming after Izuku, they wanted their Ship to set sail so much that the next Ship wars is coming." said Vegeta as he pondered over what is the best way to approach this.

The shippers have already broken a few rules of dimension-hopping the moment Kingsley time jumped to Izuku's time to fight Asi-san. Whis has informed that it would be in Vegeta's best interest to go deal with them when the Ship wars broke out and more people joined in.

But from the Oracle Fish's vision, it is very likely that the war will be going on at the same time as Izuku's final battle which he is not allowed to directly interfere. So he opted to take another way out, training Izuku.

"Hakai?" asked Izuku.

Vegeta demonstrated by destroying a distant star with a tiny purple blast "Hakai is an advanced form of destroying with your Ki, I will teach it to you for use in the Ship wars and your final battle."

 Izuku nodded, but Whis stepped in.

"Midoriya-san, this technique is on another level of power that requires you to tap into your Saiyan side's desires. Hakai requires the user to have the mind of a destroyer, and a Saiyan's lust for battle will help you." said Whis.

No wonder why Whis was so worried, Izuku is similar to Goku in terms of his style of fighting and thoughts. Vegeta's way of using Hakai properly requires one to think like a destroyer, something his Human and Heroic nature opposes.

And so, Izuku began training under Vegeta once again to learn more about his Saiyan side. Vegeta would also include indirect tips about embracing his Saiyan pride as a warrior so that Izuku would be able to "Evolve".
