Ava's POV

After Brooke went with Sara to school, I took Laurel to the Time Bureau so we could maker her physical and mental tests to see if she is healthy or if she has any problems, we get in the car and I drive to the Head Quarters when we get to the building I guide Laurel to my office for her to wait for the doctor.

She sits in a chair while I take out some legal documents to declare Laurel alive as we wait for the Doctor she starts talking, she already knew that I was a clone, that Brooke was not with me for six years but not the details, also about Sara not knowing Brooke until she was thirteen and that they were not biologically related.

"So what does Brooke like?" Laurel asks.

"Oh uhmm mostly books, to skate, soccer, drawing, ice cream, tech, the hunger games, history, marvel and lately Legos, Why do you ask?" I say passing her the documents for her to sign.

"Just to know what we may have in common so I can start from there, I think she doesn't like me she acts a little weird towards me" Laurel answers nervously.

"Oh that is normal after what happened in those six years it is hard for her to trust new people especially if they appear so suddenly" I explain and her face changes.

"God I am so sorry now I feel horrible for asking that," she tells me ashamed.

"No it is okay you didn't know, but yeah it is normal for her to act a little hesitant around you it was like that for everyone. Sara was the only one that she trusted quickly, Brooke opened up to her so fast and Sara was the best towards her when she was still adjusting to 2020"

"She sounds like a great mother" Laurel tells me smiling.

"She is the best" I reply and Laurel's smile widens.

We keep talking for another ten minutes until the doctor arrives then they run a few tests in Laurel after many hours and tests they tell us that Laurel is completely healthy in every way.

I open a portal to the Waverider.

"You just have to walk through it and you will be in the Waverider" I explain and she nods.

"You are not coming?" Laurel asks.

I shake my head "no I still have to pick up Brooke from school so then I'll meet you there"

"Ok thank you for the help Ava"

"You are welcome Laurel," I tell her as she walks through the portal.

I walk to my desk and clean it up, I grab some paperwork, my phone, and my keys I walk to the parking lot I get in the car and drive to Brooke's school.

I wait for her in the car as usual but she doesn't show up, I park and get out to look for her sometimes she runs a little bit late as I walk to the entrance I see William.

"Hey, William do you know where Brooke is?" I ask and he frowns.

"She skipped school today" he replies confused.

"What do you mean she skipped? Sara dropped her off" I explain and William looks even more confused.

" didn't see her all day, you can ask Lucas he was acting strange maybe they had a fight or something" he proposes then I nod.

"Thanks, William"

I walk around the school for a while until I found Lucas next to his locker, he looked sad and his eyes were a little red.
