The past that I forgot-Avalance

It is finally time

Sara's POV

It has been six months since Brooke came back, she has been so much better lately. Therapy is mentally helping her a lot, thankfully she is not blaming herself anymore for what happened, the first month was the hardest Brooke was afraid that in some way Draven would come back or harm us, she was also terrified of sleeping alone so Ava and I took turns to stay with her at night to hold her when she had night terrors.

Eventually, she started smiling and laughing again, she was still triggered by some things like thunderstorms, fireworks and she still flinches when you get close to her with a knife. It is nice seeing her smiling and having fun again without getting worried.

It took a while to gain all her physical strength back, but eventually, she made it. Brooke and I started training again in January after she begged me to, she was able to get back to the soccer team at the same time.

Ava and I are getting married in two days, everything was ready for the event. Ava still hasn't told me what she is going to wear to the weddings. Everything apart from that was ready. Felicity, Laurel, and Zari are going to be my bridesmaids whilst Nate, Brooke, and Nora are Ava's best men.

We are having the ceremony and party in South Seas Island Resort so Ava and I decided to arrive two days early with Brooke to take a quick family vacation before the wedding and honeymoon. We stayed in a double room but at some point of the night Brooke ended up on the couch with half of the sheet on the floor and the other in her body.

Ava went to get breakfast while I stayed here with Brooke, I already showered and changed into clean clothes. I walk over to Brooke and move the hair out of her face "Time to wake up sleepyhead"

Brooke pulls the sheet over her head "Uhmm...no...too early" Brooke mumbles.

"Brooke it is 10 am, that does not count as early" I reply moving the sheet out of her head making her groan.

"Is breakfast ready?" Brooke asks.

"No, your Mama should bring it soon" I answer and Brooke smirks.

Brooke groans again before getting up from the couch "I am going to take a shower" She says as she grabs her backpack and walks to the bathroom.

I clean up the room as Brooke takes a shower, I grab all of Brooke's stuff that was on the floor and put it in her suitcase. I do a few more things until Brooke gets out of the shower. She stays oddly quiet as she is on her phone, I sit next to her.

"Is everything okay Brooke?" I ask sweetly then I notice she bites her lip nervously.

"Can I ask you a question?" She asks and I nod "H-how did you know you liked girls?"

"Oh...I guess I start developing feelings for this girl in the league and it was not the same feeling that I had towards friends who are girls" I explain as Brooke looks at me "I liked her, that made me realize I was also attracted to girls too...but it is different for every one baby" Brooke nods "Do you feel attracted to a girl?" I ask her softly.

"I love Lucas and I feel attracted to him but lately I have noticed that I feel attracted to girls too, not to a girl in specific but girls in general...b-but I still like boys...and I am like 80% sure I am bisexual" Brooke blurts out making smile.

"It's okay baby, love who you want to love," I say and Brooke smiles before hugging me.

" I am Bi" she mumbles.
