Jasper's plane soared next Terry's, and next to him was Rick, then Simon then Sam then Greg, and next Greg was James.
Another squadron flew on the other side of the eight bombers.
That's it, keep that formation." said James over the radio.
After a while of flying, Jasper began to get shaky. He had always been defending, he knew where everything was, but now he was going to place that if he crashed, he would not know where to go or where to get medical help. He didn't know what was down below him. All he knew was his mission and target.
The small one man cock pit was beginning to cramp up Jasper's legs. The silence on the radio left Jasper with his thoughts of outcomes  of the battle.
Jasper could see the land now.
"Land ho." said Terry over the radio. An unspoken laugh went around the planes. They proceeded to fly over the grass lands.
Not long after they were flying over ground, enemy planes came roaring in.
"This is it." said James "Now defend these bombers!"
Jasper looked to a Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter closing in in one of the bombers. Coming in at an angle, Jasper shot a little ahead of the enemy plane. setting the engine on fire when the gunfire hit.
Jasper looked for more enemy planes. James finished the last enemy defender. "First wave done." said James.
"Closing in on our target." said one of the bomber pilots.
Jasper saw their target, a large factory with a railroad next to it.
"Anti air guns inbound." said Rick.
Small fireworks of smoke filled the air. "Almost there." said a bomber pilot.
Jasper could see more enemy planes coming in from afar.
"My squad, let's go intercept them."said James taking the lead. The rest of the squad followed.
"They are facing the sun!" said James "Line yourselves up with the sun if you can. They will have a hard time seeing you if you do." Jasper looking behind him to see the blinding sun. He then moved his plane to where it was facing the tail of his plane and the nose was facing the enemy squad of fighters.
Jasper saw his target and shifted to center the targeting ball a little ahead of the plane. He then pushed the button and the enemy didn't even see where the Jasper's plane was.
"It worked!" yelled Jasper into the radio. James smiled. Terry took out the last enemy plane.
"Got him!"
"Nice job Terry." said Jasper.
The squad then returned to the herd.
"Bombs away!" said the Bombardiers. The bombs fell from the large planes. Causing a large explosion of fire and rubble below.
"Target hit!" said one of the bombardiers.

Bam!
They were just beginning to turn around when one of the planes from the other squad caught fire.
"They're not done with us yet." said James panicked.
