Both squadrons began swarming the British bombers. They looked like bees surrounding a bee hive.
Another squad of Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighters came soaring in.
"I got two on me." said Simon over the radio.
"Hang on, I'm coming." said Jasper turning his plane. He lined up his plane with one of the enemy fighters. He fired carefully, trying to make sure that he wouldn't hit Simon.
"Got one." said Jasper already moving to the second enemy plane.
Simon's plane swerved, trying to escape the enemy. Jasper lined up his plane with the other enemy plane. The targeting circle was lined up with the enemy plane. Jasper pushed the button on the control stick, but this time nothing came out. Jasper only heard the clicking sound of his machine guns trying to fire another round.
"I'm out of ammo!" said Jasper in a panic.
Jasper had to think quickly.
"Simon, dip down and get in front of the nose of my plane."
"What?! Why?" said Simon with confusion.
Jasper raised his tone "Just do it!"
Without another word, Simon dipped down and Jasper swerved right behind him.
The enemy plane then began firing at Jasper!
"Now pull up and get the shot!" commanded Jasper.
Simon drove in a hard turn eventually getting right on the enemy's tail.
Simon then angled his plane so the aiming circle was centered on the enemy plane and pushed the button, causing the Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter to lose its wing. It then began spiraling.
"Thanks Jasper." said Simon relieved.

James looked around at his squad "Nice Job everyone."
Terry looked at Jasper's plane. "How's your plane holding up?"
"It's hanging in there." said Jasper trying to look at his plane's tail.
"We just got to cross the English Channel." James said looking at the body of water ahead.

The squads of RAF planes began flying over British soil.
"Almost there." said James.
The planes all landed on the large grass field.
People ran all over the field, bringing fuel tanks and ammo to resupply the tired airplanes.
Terry ran over to Jasper. "Nice job out there!"
"Thanks Terry." Jasper said weakly. "What's wrong?" asked Terry. "It's probably just the long mission." Jasper looking at the barracks "I think I am going to try to get some rest."
"Sounds good." said Terry walking off.
