Jason's pov.
I spent the whole weekend with Amy and she slept most of the time she was in the hospital which I was happy to see her health once again. On Monday I was at her house before Jennifer and Jim drove over just to help her mom out. "Jason it's nice to see you again." Her mom says and I smile kindly at her. "Nice to see you again Miss. Lavender." I say and she chuckles a little. "Tracy, you can call me by my name." She says and I nod my head. "Amy is still asleep. When we left the hospital last night the doctor gave her some pain medication that put her right to sleep. Keep an eye on her at school today for me?" She says and I nod my head. I take a seat in the kitchen as she starts to cook before setting a plate of chocolate chip pancake in front of me. "Eat." Tracy orders me and I nod my head quickly. I was almost half way done with the plate when there was a small whimper and Tracy looks worried before walking out of the room to Amy's. I could hear Amy talking lightly to her mom and smile a little when I can hear the excitement in her voice when she hears I was here.
"Jason can you come back here and help me?" Tracy asks and I turn to look down the hall to see her head leaning out the door. "Yes ma'ma." I say before walking down to Amy's room only to see my mate dressed and she looked sleepy still. Without a word said to me I pick Amy up and she snuggles closer to me making her mom give us a sad smile, happiness and worry clear in her eyes making me worry a little about what she was thinking. I set Amy down next to me at the counter before smiling as her mom set a plate of pancakes cut up for her. "Amy if you start to feel to sleepy let Jason, Jim or Jennifer know. I'll be working late at the dinner, I might have to work over night so if that happens I will let you know." Tracy says and Amy pauses before giving a sigh and looking in the direction of her mom. "Ohh ok mom." Amy says in a sad tone making me frown a little but quickly put on a smile when her mom looked over at me.
About twenty minutes later Jennifer comes bouncing into the room, Tracy told her just to come in when she got here so she did every morning. Jim was walking slowly behind his mate and the moment he sees Amy he brightens up a little. After what happened on Saturday Jim felt more protective of Amy and he saw her as a real Luna."Good morning Amy!" Jennifer sings and Amy flinches a little from the loud sound. "Morning Jen." Amy mumbles a little before she rubs her eyes. Jennifer gives her a worried look before shaking her head a few times. "You two hungry? I made more than enough for all of you." Tracy says giving them a smile and Jim gives her a big smile. "Sweet pancakes." Jim says in a happy tone before he takes a seat next to me. "They do smell good." Jennifer says as she takes a seat as well. Tracy gives a small laugh before handing them both a plate. We were quiet as we eat and once we were done I carry Amy out to the car before placing her in the back seat like normal. Jennifer was oddly quiet on the ride to the school. "Amy can I ask you something? You've been going to our school for a little over two weeks right? Where is your dad?" Jennifer asks as she looks back at Amy. Amy stiffens a little before turning her head so she was 'looking' out the window.
"I don't want to talk about that." Amy finally says before she gives a depressed sounding sigh making my wolf whimper at the sound. He hated that our mate was upset by this one thing. "Amy I'm sorry." Jennifer starts but Amy just looks over at her. "My dad......I don't like talking about him so could you not bring him up again? We're friends....my first true friends since I lost my eye sigh so just don't force me to push you away." Amy says in a stiff tone and I notice that she choked up a little on the word dad. When we got to the school people were pointing at us and whispering. Amy paid it no mind making me extremely happy to see because she was going to be a strong Luna one day. One voice stands out to me and that is the voice of Silvia. "Look it's the freak and she has my boy toy carrying her around. I guess he is doing community service or whatever. No way my man would like a freak like that." Silvia say and Amy flinches a little in my arms. I look down at her and give a soft sigh before shifting her weight just a little and she relaxes once again in my hold.
