"As you know," Pascal begin, pacing with his hands clasped behind him as he spoke. "You are called here today to form an army to overthrow the Miniforce."

The cavern, once spacious, was now packed to the capacity with deathly rangers of every shape and size. The darkness of the cavern shadowed the mob, forming a dark cloud before raging thunder.

A series of furious grumbling rose at the word 'Miniforce', washing over the dark swarm in a turbulent wave.

Among the sea of familiar faces was Medusa, with the writhing pile of silvery snakes exploding from the top of his head. Pio, with his fluorescent scorpion tail swaying as though tossed by invisible waves. Lana and Croaker, an enormous, repulsive humanoid frog and a brawny crocodile with a torn flaxen shirt, took up more room than any of the villains.

Shaku's parrot squawked loudly from its perch on the pirate king's metalclad shoulder, mimicking its master's shouts. Torris, the humanoid tortoise ranger, leaned against the cavern wall to avoid bearing the weight of his shell.

In a corner of the jagged stony ceiling, Vamp was perched upside down, cross-legged, his dark membrane wings folded into his back. The Serpent Witch, Silah, stood beneath him, her cobra tail swishing and slithering. Beside her, Griffon flicked his bowstring. Abophis and Laoshu, a dark golden ranger in Egyptian fashion and a robust russet ranger, cracked their knuckles, bloodthirsty for violence.

Yet these villains were only the highlights. Their many apprentices and armies circled their own masters, forming a massive, endless legion.

"Those colorful bastards and their former members have trampled us underfoot for hundreds of years," Pascal continued. "And it's time we take our revenge as a whole!" The cavern roared and echoed with deafening approval, and Pascal paused to gaze out at his newly gained army with glowing pride and pleasure. It was an army he had waited so long to form.

"And what is the battle plan, Master Pascal?" He heard Medusa's low growl over the crushing cheers.

Pascal smirked beneath his helmet. He was glad to be asked the question and thrilled to share the answer. "We will destroy the main team first, shall we say?" He chuckled.

"And how?" Snarled Silah, her tail slithering aggressively. The crowd quieted somewhat for Pascal's reply.

"With a lure and a prepared trap," was the response. Without waiting for further questioning, Pascal turned to the entrance of the cave and strode toward it, the villains parting a path for him.

The cavern opening had been jammed securely by a looming boulder, separating the dark lair from the outside world. With a swish of his spear, the heavy stone rolled aside with a deep rumble, revealing the sky outside.

The vast dome was pale, ashen gray, the blue filtered by foggy wisps of colorless clouds, as if nature had hidden its beauty from the undeserving legion.

Pascal ascended the steep cliff edge, digging his spear into the crevices and hoisting himself onto the crest, where he stood with one foot planted over a stone.

The villains flooded from the entrance and gathered below him, anticipating the answer. From this height in the peaks, the view was vast. Every precipice could be seen, cascading into the depth below and sinking into the smoky grey.

"Not the best place to cause a scene," Pascal muttered. "But it'll be enough to lure the Miniforce into my trap."

"What will?" Abophis asked.

"This." Pascal straightened himself, aiming his spear at the sky. The twisting, bone-white tip glowed a blazing lavender, and the weapon began to vibrate. Pascal's arm trembled along with it. "This'll send them running."

A blinding purple beam erupted from the spear and shot into the air with speed faster than a rocket, quickly swallowed by the dense clouds. For a moment, everything was motionless, like the deadly silence before a raging storm. Not one villain moved.

All at once, the sky spewed with violet lightning, and the clouds swirled like a hurricane, darkening into a whirl of inky black. The sizzling electricity lashed out in every direction, briefly alighting everything below with its lavender blaze.

Boulders shattered at the lightning's attacks, gravel raining into the void bellow. Few powerful audiences used their weapons as shields, while others scrambled for the safety of the caverns. The light glared so blindingly that Pascal was the only one left staring into the disturbed sky.

"Come, Miniforce," He snarled, his words carried away by the howling of the clouds and the sizzling lightning before they were heard. "Come..."
