JEONG-WOO POV

I stepped outside for a breath of fresh air on the roof, not knowing what was going on in the practice. When I returned, the girls were arguing. 

Then I saw Y/N and her dad holding hands tightly. 

The anxious look in her eyes made my heart tighten.

As I remained behind, I examined everything until the end. 

Y/N looked exhausted already. 

She no longer wanted to be here and wanted to leave.

As she was about to leave, the girls suddenly stopped her and asked, "Don't you have anything to say? How could you ruin Yuni's dream by hiding your identity? Aren't you also to blame for being rude when we came as customers?"

With no emotions in her eyes, she said, "I'm sorry, I admit that I'm to blame."

They scoffed at her in disbelief and one shoved her to the ground, saying, "Yah? Do you think that's good enough? Do you think you're above us now that you're the CEO's daughter?"

Her body language made it clear that she wanted to stop them from saying anything further.

"Oh right, you and your unnie were adopted, right? Then you both were orphans? That's really shocking, you know? I guess you guys begged the CEO-"

That's when I got angry. Suddenly, I kicked a chair and it broke while I glared at the girls, "Stop it."

All of them stared at me in astonishment at my sudden action. 

I looked at Haruto and saw that he was also holding back. In an instant, I noticed that Y/N was exhausted, so I carried her away from the practice in a bridal style. Nothing else matters to me, all I want is to take care of her.

I didn't realize she was asleep when I blurted out those words.

"I wish you'd called me the other day. I hated myself that Haruto took you."

1 HOUR AGO

She was unable to wake up.

To ensure she is properly sleeping, I brought her to a restroom. 

However, she refused to let me go at all. Although I tried to put her on the bed, her arms wouldn't let go so I gave up quickly, as it was getting exhausting for me. 

I sat down on top of the bed without attempting to wake her up.

Since then, I have been watching her facial features closely. 

I was immersed in it.

Jeong-woo, don't fall for her.

There's no way you will betray Haruto.

A few moments later, she slowly woke up and rubbed her eyes as she examined the room.

"Where are we?"

"We are in the restroom." 

"What are we here for?"

"I brought you here because you fell asleep on my shoulder. I think you're getting comfortable on my laps?"

As she paused and stared at me shortly, she immediately gasped, "I'm sorry! I wasn't intending to do that!"

As soon as she got off my lap, I pulled her down to the side of the bed and embraced her tightly, "It's my turn to rest. Let's stay like this for a while."

A silence was filled between us in this quiet restroom. I chuckled softly, "What's up with the sudden silence? Are you uncomfortable?" 

"No, I'm not. It is just weird that we have gotten too close already."

"I am very clingy, so you don't have a choice."

"I don't mind since you took care of me earlier, so thank you."

Reopening my eyes slowly, I asked, "Are you okay?" 

"Thanks to you, I feel much better."

"Are you sure? You haven't been sleeping well, have you?"

"In fact, I have been sleeping well for the past few weeks. It was just so unexpected that I lost myself at that moment. It was too exhausting."

"Don't think too hard today. You've done nothing wrong. I think you should just let your dad handle it since he has the authority that comes with being the CEO. Do not blame yourself whatever the situation is."

"I'll do my best not to." 

"Why do you keep such things to yourself? Don't you see that they are trying to protect you?"

"Because I've never done anything to protect them, I hate myself for that. All I've done is cause them trouble. I want to be independent, but I'm afraid to face my past."

She couldn't hold back her tears. Turning her aside, I looked at her tenderly. I sighed and stroked her cheeks as she stared at me more closely.

"You are not alone. Let it go while you can. You deserve all the love you are receiving."

"Can I really find the happiness I'm looking for? All these things happening are never-ending, and they're already taking tolls on me."

After her tears finally flowed, she smiled at me and I pulled her neck closer to me.

"This will be too sudden."

"What?"

In an effort to kiss her, I lean closer to her, since I am unable to restrain myself anymore.

 However, there was an interruption.

 A vibration from her phone was loud and it was a call from her father. 

Y/N jolted surprisingly and smiled shyly, "I'm sorry! I think I have to leave now! Thank you so much, Jeong-woo!"

I was left hanging in the restroom, "Ah, she got me. I lost again."

That was really close.

As I played hard to get on her, I couldn't help but smile at myself for making a move on her. As I remembered all the touches I made on her, I looked at my hands lovingly and smiled like an idiot, "She's so cute."

There's no way I can hold back anymore.

It's impossible to resist her.
