Arrival to the City of Freedom

It was the next day you woke up as early as you could to continue your way to Mondstadt you started moving your bags and once you exited your room you took a little detour and said your goodbyes to Xiao and then went on your way to the receptionist desk and gave the keys back, once you were done with everything you needed to do you went along the path once more. The trip was peaceful while also trying your best to avoid any treasure hoarders, hillichurl camps, slimes technically anything that will slow you down or get you hurt.

After a long walk you had reached the gates of Mondstadt you looked up at the sky and the windmills of the city and noticed the sun was starting to set and the city was as bright and lively as you remembered it as a child you entered and immediately went to your old house and luckily your parents never sold your old house and when you found out it was never sold you sended a letter to Noelle so she could maybe check up on it and maybe clean it a bit a few days before your arrival so the house was tidy and mostly clean but with some dust spots here and there but you could clean those yourself when you went in, you made your way to your old room and placed all the bags there and decided to go to the tavern and say hi to Diluc and maybe Kaeya if they were there so you did as you said and went off and locked the door to your house.

The tavern looked like it was full and very lively and you also noticed some music going on from the outside once you opened the door and saw Diluc at the bar Kaeya wasn't there but you noticed a familiar bard it was Venti, you made your way to the bar and sat on one of the stools "Strawberry head how's everything going" you got the attention of the red head and he looked at you with a hint of surprise and anoyment in them "Y/N? How many times have I told you don't call me that but anyways I wasn't expecting a visit from you how's it been going" "Everything's just fine for now how about you has your winery been blown up or infiltrated" you laughed enough that you started coughing a bit "It hasn't and I personally make sure of that" He said with a serious look on his face "Fine fine ill stop playing with yo-"

"Y/N! Long time no see *hic* anything new I've missed *hic*" Venti approached you and sat on the stool next to you and ordered another bottle of Dandelion wine "I can assure you nothings new but I have made a few friends over there so I'm not as lonely as I was when I first arrived" you responded while he drank the bottle as if it was water "*hic* Y/N I don't want you to ever replace us why not *hic* come back and live here again" he hugged you like if you were going to dissappear right in the spot "Leave her alone i don't think she'll ever replace us and you still need to pay for all the wine" Diluc said while cleaning some of the wine glasses left by some of the customers that had left "I'll put on another show *hic* will that do?" The bard offered since he sometimes never had mora Diluc just sighed and let him put another show it kinda reminded you of the consultant of the Wangshen funeral parlor Zhongli you only talked to him a few times while being with Childe he would always be broke at this point you'd think that Childe would've gone broke but no he still has money

You enjoyed a few shows from Venti and Kaeya eventually showed up in and left after a few hours and now it was late and you were on your way back to your home in Mondstadt you unlocked the door and entered but once you did you saw mona inside digging into your fridge as if she hasn't eaten in 5 days you were just about to question why but she started talking first "Please excuse me Y/N I know your gonna ask me why i'm here well i'm here to warn you of something thats going to happen in a few days in Liyue I don't know the exact details yet but it will affect you and your family a bit you better stay alert to Liyue's news for a while" you were trying to process what could possibly happen in Liyue but all that came to mind was the Rite of descension maybe the shop wasn't gonna have the best sales but that's all you thought "Ok then ill stay alert but first let me enjoy my time visiting i still need to see the knights and the sisters, but anyways when was the last time you ate I could make you something" Her eyes lit up as you said that and she quickly accepted the offer and helped you out once finished she thanked you for the food and went off on her way you on the other hand you had trouble sleeping thinking of what could possibly happen in some days and as time went by you eventually found sleep.

You already visited the sisters, the knights and also went to Windrise you were already making breakfast to get ready to go to Wolvendom when someone suddenly knocked on your door you opened it saw Noelle she had a letter in her hands and gave it to you "good morning Y/N this is from your parents they sent you this earlier it looks like it may have something important in it" you opened the letter and read it in it said something about Rex Lapis being dead and that the Rite of Descension went wrong you were surprised to hear these news like how can a God like Rex Lapis just die all of a sudden you wanted to go back and see how everything was going back there but you still wanted to say hi to Razor you thought about what to do next and forgot that Noelle was still standing there a bit worried about you

"Y/N are you ok? Did anything bad happen?Do you need comforting or any type of help?" You felt bad for making her so suddenly worried about you "Nothings wrong please don't worry too much its just that the news that I got were very unexpected" you tried to make her worry less "Well if you're positively sure nothings wrong ill be on my way I got a lot of people to help today plus I still need to study for the knights exam" and like that she went off and you decided to go to Wolvendom and then Liyue.

This marks the end of today's chapter as ill always be doin ill be working as soon as I can I wanna also clarify that Scaramouche himself will maybe appear once or twice within the next chapters it rlly depends how I can rlly fit everything in.

Unrelated but I literally pulled a 10 roll in Klee's banner and lost the 50/50 to Mona and im disappointed
