Trials and Test (pt.1)

Day 1 of the trials: Monday

The next week had arrived you had everything prepared for almost every situation luckily Childe had passed with Scaramouche a day before your departure to inform you about what could some of the challenges you had to pass along with many others that were going to be there. He also told you that he was one of the harbingers along with Scaramouche that were going to choose new recruits and Childe made some prior preparations to choose you but you were pretty annoyed with the fact that Childe had to be your boss in some way so Scaramouche also offered to take you in as one of his recruits and of course they ended up arguing about it for a few hours till it ended with both them playing an intense game of rock-paper-cissors with Scaramouche winning by a point.

You went outside with the bags that had everything you needed for the trip, once you made it to the indicated ship it was wayyy bigger than you imagined and with that you saw a lot more people than you'd expect there considering how the Fatui's name is pretty much ruined in Liyue you looked around and guessed that there were atleast a lot more than 200 people, soon enough a tall looking lady came from the ship she had introduced herself as Signora and allowed everyone to go on board and once everyone got in she explained some of the rules on how we should behave, what's acceptable and what isn't and where your rooms will be located and the trip was going to last for two weeks then she let you all have a rest and accommodate yourselves for the time being

While exploring a few of the rooms in the ship in the way to your room you accidentally went into the wrong room and saw two guys doing some sort of ritual with the picture of a guy with white hair and also a red highlight the both of them turned thed head slowly at you and looked at you, you slowly closed the door and tried erasing your memory and went on with your day after a few wrong doors again you finally reached your assigned room

You opened the door you saw that it had two desks, some drawers and a bunk bed wich a person already there you looked at the figure that was on the top bunk and she looked back at you "Uhh...Hi? I'm Y/N nice to meet you" "...Y/N huh? Nice to meet you! I'm Ichika" the girl got down from where she was and took your hand and shook it "so you were my assigned roommate" You said "I guess I am, well anyways let's get those bags off ya and get to know each other more" she helped you with some of your bags "So Y/N from where do you come from?" She asked "I'm originally from Mondstadt and live in Liyue where I used to help my family with a small shop but after the disaster in Liyue a week ago the shop isn't there anymore..." both of you could tell the atmosphere got a bit gloomy so Ichika spoke up "I'm guessing that's why you want to join the Fatui anyways I'm from Inazuma I'm here to grant my parents wish of traveling the world even though it may sound a bit pointless joining the fatui for something like that I could always sneak a few bucks back to them so they can get some travel permits to get out of Inazuma and somewhere else" she said with determination and smile "now hurry up and tell me how you want these things organized" you could tell at this point that she was a girl full of energy "You don't have to its ok but I still wanted them near the corner next to the bunk bed." 

A few minutes after you were all called to go out to the bow of the ship where the captain of the ship was going to announce the details of the trial, once you were all at the assigned area the same lady that had recited the rules was there with what looked like the captain of the ship and he spoke "You've all been gathered here for your first trial wich is survival at sea, for this first trial the ship's crew will teach you all how to use a polearm and give you a few survival tips while doing so, once that step is cleared we shall put you all on separate wooden rafts with only your polearms wich will be used for hunting fish and also combat you all also pay attention to your surroundings because we will also send an important crate that will contaim materials to expand your ranfts and also aid with water to all of you it shall be like this for two weeks straight so be ready for the worst now everyone back to their rooms" then the lady who had introduced herself earlier as Signora spoke up "Training is first thing in the morning so don't stay up too late or you'll regret it"

Most of you followed orders and went back to the rooms while some kept exploring the large ship you were in your room with Ichika and you both learned a lot about each other and found out she really enjoys cooking and taking care of people and she learned you liked working with money and not being broke it was technically like a small type of sleepover that included training most of the day and getting few hours of lunch and sleep depending at what hour you go to sleep to

Day 3 of the trails: Wednesday

The training had properly started but it was a bit boring since we were only fighting with wooden weapons and not the real dangerous ones you thought that the real ones were better because if you get hit hard you die but if they were also real weapons you'd be dead by now and you would have no other choice but to do well and not get hurt so in other words real weapons teach you better but can kill you in training and also around 7pm training was ending and everyone was putting their weapons away and Ichika almost threw someone overboard while running away from one of the chefs after she snuck out of the current training and stole some of the ingredients from storage

Once the training was officially done for the day and the wooden weapons where stored back to their former area you went back to your dorm and saw Ichika still with the weird ingredients she had stolen with a few bowls and mixing tools you figured she brought those just for emergencies but when you asked her she also had stolen those from the kitchen and that she had somehow convinced the cheff to let her use the kitchen from time to time you wondered how but didn't ask

"So what was this dish of yours called again?" She looked up at you while still somehow cutting some of the ingredients perfectly without cutting her fingers "It's nothing special it's just a family recipe on how to make Onigiri my mom taught me how to make it when I was twelve its quite delicious" and she kept mixing the ingredients and cooking them you didn't even notice she brought a mini stove with her and this one wasn't stolen or anything she just had it in her stuff somehow along with other weird stuff she had brought with her Once it was done she let you have a taste and it was surprisingly very good you even wondered what would happen if Xiangling and her got to meet you thought that they would get along well because of their cooking skills

The captain and some of the crew members were starting to stroll down every hall to make sure everyone was asleep and the ones who weren't were forced to stay awake the whole night training you knew this because it happened to you the first two nights and you did regret it so once you heard them go down your hall Ichika and you panicked and just tripped on everything and anything until eventually you both gave up and just laid dead on the floor and pretended to be asleep when the captain went to check your room he only saw what looked like two dead bodies but just ignored it and waited till morning to check if you were both truly dead or just fell asleep like that but obviously you were both just pretending once he left the hallway you could hear the groans and whines of some of the others that were training and figured that they got caught being awake you both got up and properly laid yourselves on the bunk bed and to avoid any arguments the first day that you had arrived both of you agreed to take turns each day to sleep on the top bunk and bottom bunk it was an effective move because as expected no arguments

This is the end of this chapter srry if it was a bit late but now here you go and as always I'll start on the next one as soon as I can and a little reminder that a lot more of Scaramouche will start appearing once these parts are over there will be like 4 or more of these parts maybe I'll see how it turns out
