Trails and Tests (pt.3)

Last day of the sea trials: Saturday

You technically just had spent two weeks in a small raft with barely any water and only fish for breakfast, lunch and dinner, got a mega tan, almost drowned trying to take a bath, regretted many life decisions, saw someone get attacked by a shark and almost died by the same shark, technically learned that the sea is scary, and just wanted to go back home and wished you never even met Childe in the first place, but luckily that was going to end today because it was the last day you had to be in a small ass raft in the middle of the ocean you were just waiting for the big boat to arrive and take you back to dry land

While you waited for the boat to pick you up or atleast send someone to pick you up you decided that it was a good idea to send a bottle with a threat message in and hoped an archon would find it and then blame the whole nation for it but you realized you didn't have a piece of paper or a pen but you were still planning to do that someday and while figuring out what to  write in the bottle so that when you get back you'd get to work one of the crew members came with a boat and got you out of that awful raft and inside the small boat were a few people so you atleast had someone to talk to

Once you finally got to the main boat the first thing you did was take a nice normal shower and get a new pair of clothes when you got to your room again Ichika was there but she was dead asleep you tried to shake her awake but it was no use the only thing that can wake her up is the sound of the boats horn and even that is questionable so you just went back to the bow of the ship and saw that some people didn't seem to make it but it didn't affect the numbers much apparently

The horn on the boat finally rang and saw that more and more people were coming to the bow of the ship you searched for Ichika and found her easily and once everyone was in place the captain and the fellow harbinger revealed themselves but this time I was Signora speaking "I'm most impressed by all of you who made it through this trial alive but this is only the begging you all still have a long way to go and this training is merely the start because once your done with a few more weeks or maybe months of training on the main land as you all know you all will be picked by a harbinger that has been in need of new recruits including myself on that list and once you've been picked there will be more training but you're going to be trained by the selected harbinger themselves wich is a big honor may I remind you once that is done you'll all start off as diplomats then if you all do well you rank up to skirmishers and if you continue doing well and exceeding expectations you may end up as fatui agents or Cicin Mages and if you work hard enough and proof her majesty the Tsaritsa that you are an extraordinary person you may get the role of a Harbinger but i doubt any of you here will get that far for what I've seen so far" her words were sorta encouraging maybe but one thing is for sure and it's that it's not just gonna be 4 weeks of overall training it could be months

"Hey Y/N who do you think will pick you? Or have you not seen the lost of harbingers yet" You tilted your head and noticed that it was Ichika that was talking to you "Well I have a good idea on who will pick me because I've encountered him before but that's not important right about now I need to know where that list because-" "Wait wait wait wait wait, hold up. You met a harbinger and made friends with them?!" She had interrupted you "Well the story is that since my parents died or just went missing the day of the disaster in Liyue I was looking for a new job and before that incident I had met this one very annoying harbinger in Liyue and he had introduced me to a different one and once the annoying one knew about my situation at the moment he had told me to join the Fatui and tod me that he would choose me but I didn't  want an annoying person as my boss so the other one offered to take me in and in conclusion they started a small argument that ended up with them making some sort of deal through an intense game of rock paper cissors and the one who won would have to choose me and the annoying one lost. A few minutes later the captain had come up and announced that we were getting near to the main land and that we should all be ready for when we arrive and everyone followed orders immediately and started packing trying to leave anything behind but there's always someone out there who leaves something and once they realize it's gone it's too late anyway and while packing the items you brought you saw Ichika packing up her whole little personal kitchen while you didn't have many items but it was anyways chaotic and by the time everyone was finished the sun ad gone down and it was midnight and all that was left to do was wait to finally reach dry land

This is the end of this chapter I don't really have much to say today so ig i'll see you all on the next chapter and hope I have something to say there
