The New Diplomats Job

Your first task was fairly easy you were sent to Mondstadt with a list of people who owed debt to the Fatui if they payed well then good if they didn't and needed more time you were to report it directly to Scaramouche plus you thought the opportunity  was good to say hi to everyone there again and that also meant you had to go through Liyue again and you did and said hello to everyone of your friends in Liyue and made your way to Mondstadt

The first person was a treasure hoarder who owed atleast 10k mora and according to the info you were given they are somewhere around Dawn Winery and since it was the nearest area you began searching through the outskirts of it after a few minutes you heard some whispering inside the nearby bushes so you decided to investigate a bit even if it got you a bit delayed  you went up to it and saw Diona and Klee with some bombs you weren't surprised honestly

"Hey Fatui lady go away you have no business here!!!" Diona had spotted you from the corner of her eye "In fact I do have work to do here Diona and why did you bring Klee here again?!" They both looked at you confused "I'm sorry Ms. Fatui Lady but have we met before?" Klee questioned "Of course we have don't yo- oh right" you forgot that you were in your Fatui uniform and the mask couldn't let you be very recognized so you took it off "Y/N?!!? Your working for the fatui?!?!?" Diona went crazy and Klee was just very surprised "Yeah I am but that's not important now what are you guys doing here?" Klee looked at the Winery in front of you "Well Diona told me that there were a lot of bad people in Dawn Winery and she asked me to destroy it" you looked at Diona "Diona? Klee? You both know what Jean says about this" "We know" They both said tat the same time "Good now go back to Mondstadt I still got some work here to do" you pat both of their heads "Ok Ms. Y/N" Klee said and left with Diona

It was nice meeting the two again but now you had to continue your list you finally found the treasure hoarder camp and approached it "Oh and who do we have here? A Fatui diplomat I see" one of the treasure hoarders noticed you "Yes. And I have come to collect that 10k mora you owe" "And what if we don't have the money and refuse to pay" he said "Well then you'll have to deal with my superior" He let out a small chuckle and other treasure hoarders appeared "We'll make sure you don't speak a word after all we don't want any more trouble" "Why are you guys so dumb even if you kill me they'll be more of us asking for the mora you owe" you didn't have a weapon in the current moment so all you could do was dodge attacks and hope you get out alive even though you got a bit hurt you got to escape and made sure you reported this

The second person on the list was a lady from Mondstadt her name was Eva she owed 5k so you started making your way to the city and once you got there you knocked on her door and a woman opened it so you assumed it was her "Excuse me ma'am are you perhaps Eva?" You asked "Oh Eva is my mother I'm Janice her daughter and I bet you're here for the debt well she's inside ill tell her you're here" and a few seconds passed and Eva was there "I suppose you are here to collect my debt?" "Yes ma'am you owe exactly 5k mora do you have the money?" You were being as polite as you could to make a good impression and it looked like it was working "I do have it let me go get wait just a moment please" you did so and she came back with exactly 5k mora "Thank you for cooperating ma'am have a lovely day" "You too!" And that was another person off the list

The third person had a camp in Stormbearer mountains but before you could leave the city you made your way to your house you knocked fo see if Noelle was there since you gave her your keys so she could clean if atleast once a month and luckily she was there a day opened the door "Um..hello may I ask who you are?" You took your mask off and put it in your pocket "It's me Noelle I work for the Fatui now and I was sent to do some work here and decided to take the opportunity to see how things are here" her eyes widened and she hugged you "I'm so glad you're ok you haven't visited us I atleast two whole years" she then let go "It's ok im here now and I suppose you were cleaning my house today?" You looked at her hand wich was holding a broom "oh yes I was but I've finished now I was just going to put the supplies away and take my leave so I could help other people and study for the knights exam" you quickly looked back at her "Wait a dang minute you're still taking that test and failing!?" "W-well yes but I'm sure I'll pass someday" "Well then good luck I'll be taking my leave for now I still got some work to do but I'll be back" you waved goodbye and put your mask on again "Goodbye Y/N!"

You wanted to go to the tavern and the knights headquarters but decided to leave that for later and went to  Stormbearer mountains to do the same thing and hope it went well and after atleast an hour of searching you finally found the camp and it belongs to an adventurer but they weren't there so you had to wait till they get back soon when they did you said the same things and got the debt money

The sun had set and you were done with the list you were lucky that the Fatui gave way point maps and you took the chance to unlock the ones in the city of Mondstadt itself and quickly teleported there you swore your legs were killing you but as much as you wanted to sleep and rest you also wanted to go to the tavern atleast and so you did you went to the tavern and as always the same people were there Diluc, Venti, Kaeya, Rosaria and today also Lisa it was nice seeing your drinking buddy all together again you went ahead and took a seat "Master Diluc one Dandelion wine please" he looked at you with a weird look on his face "Padon but do I know you from somewhere" and once again you took your mask off "It's me guys! How in this world can no one notice how I look I'm just wearing a mask and a Fatui diplomat uniform my appearance hasn't changed a bit!" They all took a second to realize it was really you "Oh ho ho well then Y/N decided to join the Fatui then I bet your parents didn't pay you well and you got sick of it but don't worry I would too if I didn't get payed well" Kaeya said sipping on his wine "Y/N? In the Fatui? *Hic* what a weird *Hic* surprise" you looked at everyone and they all obviously had something to say about this

"Guys please shut up and let me explain properly" and so they did and were willing to hear you out "Ok so technically what happened you guys remember how I went back to Liyue earlier than I wanted to because I got a serious note well technically the geo archon apparently had died so I went to check it out and see if all the ruckus was true and it was soon after apparently one of the Fatui harbingers to be exact the 11th of them decided to awake an ancient sealed god luckily a traveler from another world was ther and saved us all but my main point is that my parents didn't exactly make it and neither did the shop then the same harbinger and his friend? I honestly don't know if they are really friends but they get along well enough I guess but anyways technically they convinced me to join the Fatui and now here i am" they all processed what you just told them and they felt bad about the part of your parents dying and everything "But Y/N why didn't you ask me for a job? I could've easily found a good spot for you as one of my workers at the Winery" Diluc said "Or I could've signed you up for the knights" Said Lisa and Kaeya agreed "Why would Y/N even join the knights they are so inefficient" Diluc complained while serving venti his 60th bottle of Dandelion wine "Or you could've signed up for the church" Rosaria offered while sipping the last of her wine "Those could've been so many good options but i guess you were all late for that I now serve under the instructions of The Balladeer"

After that chat Venti sang various songs to pay for his wine and we all had a blast but then about 12 came the time you had to go since the next day you had to report back to Scaramouche and if you didn't he would make sure you did somehow so you went to your house and fell into a deep sleep that not even the sounds of the people could wake you up but you still had to wake up early so you before you went to your house you told Noelle to wake you up first thing in the morning so you wouldn't be late to arrive at Liyue

Hello people i am back and at this point I shouldn't say this but it's obviously the end of this chapter and its exactly 12:07 rn and tomorrow I have school and it sucks a lot I'm starting to count how many days are left for summer but I'm too lazy and just say that there are more than 200 days my point is I hate school already well I dont got much to say left so anyways see you all on the next chapter
