"Minor Inconvenience"

The night had passed peacefully and the sun was starting to rise. A loud noise coming from the outside of your room woke you up making you jump right off of your bed. You wondered what could've caussd the loud noise that woke you up and decided to investigate. You got out of the bed and opened the door that lead to the hallway. While walking you heard another bang but it was louder and it came from the direction of Scaramouche's room. You started running through the maze of hallways following the sound to see what could be happening over there.

The nearer you got the louder the boom got and the more worried you were. It turned out the boom was coming from his room. You put your ear against his door and all you could hear were some groans from inside. You knocked and immediately were screamed at "Get away Y/N don't get near the room!" You were clueless and asked "What's going on in there, what are you doing?!". "QUICKLY GET AWA-". Another boom was heard and it was by far the loudest then a wave of electro pushed you back against the wall, luckily you didn't get hit hard, what actually did something was the wave of electro thaat had shocked you and left u paralyzed for a few seconds. Scaramouche quickly opened his door and saw you on the ground in quite the bit of pain. The figure who got down to aid you had his hair and clothes all messed up and wounds all over his right hand "Y/N are you ok??" He asked in a worried tone, "I-I'm alright, just a little electro shocked that's all, i'll be ok though."

Scaramouche tried helping you get up but he himself wasn't in the conditions to do anything "Scaramouche, please tell me how did you get like this. You don't look well at all." He sighed and looked at you "I'll explain in a bit but for now I recommend for you to rest. I'll let you have my bed for now but you better not get used to this treatment." He piled up the strength to pick you up and carry you to his bed. You looked around the huge fancy room and saw a few broken floor boards and walls along with some cabinets. He sat on chair he had next to his desk which he had close to the bed and turned to you, "Apologies for having you see me and my room like this so early in the morning, I know we were heading to Narukami Island today first thing but I think its best we don't, a little ginger found out I have the gnosis and aren't planning to give it to the Tsaritsa thanks to one of his spies. And he happens to be oh so conveniently in Narukami Island expecting me, so guess what we're doing. We're leaving Inazuma from Yashiori Island all the way to Liyue, most likely to a spot where we aren't seen. As for what I was doing. You know that I have the gnosis, well... I was trying to use its power but it's not working. It is as if its rejecting my body and immediately sending waves of electro to as if it was "protecting itself".

You didn't exactly know what to say since you had so many questions but didn't know where to start. You tried to sit up straight and thought for a bit and asked "But how will we ever run from the Fatui? What are you trying to achieve with that gnosis??" He just had a pensive look on his face and his hand on his chin and stayed quiet as if he was trying to say something but couldn't find the right way to do so. "What are you exactly?" You asked again, he seemed shocked by the question "What do you mean by that Y/N?" He asked back. "You aren't human are you? Your hand has a very noticeable hole in it without a single drop of blood or any sign of meat, it's an empty hole then there's the how you're just fine after taking who knows how many electro shocks plus the fact I didn't feel the warmth of your body when you picked me up. It was just.. cold."

He looked away for a few moments, he took a deep breath and looked at you again "No. I'm not... i'm in fact a failed puppet, discarded by my own creator. I was made by the Raiden Shogun and my real name is Kunikuzushi, and... and that's all the information you're getting". "...I'm sorry for asking, for making you remember and talking about that. I can hear it in your voice it makes you sad" you felt enough strength to stand up again and walk towards him to give him a hug, he didn't expect this. A tear had rolled from his face and a small smile appeared "Thank you Y/N" he said while hugging you back "I'm always here to help" you said, he then in a very low voice said an "I love you" but couldn't quite it, "Did you say anything?" "No, it was nothing but let's get preparing for tomorrow. We are in fact going to Liyue. Now get off of me. We cannot let a minor inconvenience drag us back." You both let go of each other and he stood up from his chair.

He looked at you with a serious face and got to demanding again "Well what are you waiting for? Start packing. Now. Before that ginger or anyone of them finds us here."

"Yes sir Harbinger!" You ran quickly to your room while laughing a little bit and made more bags for the long trip ahead.

Hello again everyone who's reading, ik it's been a few months (atleast 5 i think, could be less but idk) since an upload but here's another chapter. I hope it was enjoyable

I dont rlly have anything else to say just sorry for not uploading frequently, I get very lazy
