Strange Traveler

It was only a few days after the incident with what happened at the Rite of Descension and you were back to working again and as customers came in and out you also got to overhear some more rumors than what you had heard when you arrived from Mondstadt and most of them were of the same traveler the millelith were suspecting and others were just a few theories about what the Liyue Qixing are going to do with the adepti and some theories on how everything would play out from now but right now your thoughts is that the traveler did kill the God because how come a strange traveler from out of nowhere came to Liyue the same day and acted suspicious enough for the millelith to suspect them

You were restocking a bit when you saw a bit in the distance what it looked like the traveler that everyone was talking about, short but not too short, blonde hair, not local clothing, and some sort of fairy or pixie always around him you immediately finished restocking and went on and tried to follow him as best as you could without being noticed until eventually you lost him and started to wonder how can a person like him even be able to kill a God since you noticed that he had no sort vision on him and what could he possibly want to do here in Liyue but atleast you heard that he was going to Jueyun Karst but people say that the adepti dwell somewhere within those countless towering, cloud-ringed peaks and that only few mortals may set foot here so maybe he was an adepti or some sort of unknown god

A few moments after you headed back to the shop and keep helping out but stumbled upon Childe on the way "Hey there Y/N i see that you've been spying on the traveler why is that?" "Well its just that I've been hearing a lot of rumors about him and when I saw him pass by the shop a few moments ago I got curious thats all" you said and crossed your arms "Dont listen to what the people say around here I've actually talked to him a big and offered to lend him some help he's actually a traveler who got separated from their sibling and is trying to find them by searching for the other gods to see if they can help but right now he's giving the news of Rex Lapis death to the adepti with a sigil of permission I gave him" you looked at him with a look like wanted to ask a load of questions at the same time but decided to only ask the one that clogged your brain the most "wait but where did you get a sigil of permission? Aren't those like...super rare" he only answered with this "Well let's just say that I got provided with a few when I got here" you only thought of in a way that its just because he's in the fatui he got a few

A few hours passed and it was time for closing when the same traveler was back and he was talking to Zhongli you didn't pu much mind to it since he was just probably asking about the gods death or something but you anyways decided to approach them because you couldn't take it any longer and like so you went towards them "Hello Mr. Zhongli and Traveler I was just a bit curious on what were you guys talking about, i hope this doesn't sound creepy or anything" "Well then I guess we could tell you since its nothing secretive so you see the case here is that Aether or 'The Traveler' as most call him is helping me with some of the parlors official affairs since Rex Lapis sadly died after all" "well then i guess i was kinda suspicious at him for nothing anyways pleased to meet ya im Y/N Jade I guess you could say im one of Zhongli's friends i hope we can get along" you took your han out to choke his and he took it "The pleasures all mine im Aether and this is my emergency food, Paimon"  the blonde introduced himself as Aether "HEY HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I SAID PAIMONS NOT FOOD" The little pixie looked a bit mad and it looks like he had introduced it like that a few times

After a while you had to go home and on the way you saw that Childe was talking with some very beautiful lady and Scaramoucheit was something about some sigils of permission but you couldn't stay hearing for much longer or you could get caught by some fatui diplomat so you planned on asking Childe another day about whats truly going on and made your way back to the shop and helped out on finishing some of the duties your parents had let you in charge of and like that the day was gone

I want to say that I edited a few words on the chapter before this one for those who already read it before this one so maybe check it out but anyways this is the end of this chapter and I'll be working on the new one whenever I can

Unrelated but I lost the 50/50 to Qiqi and idk how to feel cuz I rlly want Kazhua but Qiqi isn't that bad either so idk
