A New Journey

Before we start this chapter I wanna mention that I'll be fixing my way of organizing this story and try to improving my way of writing bc I missed many items when writing and sometimes I will try to edit oher chapters in my free time

You've officially been working for Scaramouche for a year now, nothing has changed much apart from the fact that you have been getting closer and closer to him since the first time you guys met

"Y/N Y/N" yelled a familiar voice at your door "OPEN THE DOOR GIRLIE" you were sleeping and you let out a groan knowing it was one of your days off but had no other choice to make your way through half the house and open your door to whoever was annoying you at 7am and knowing well you thought it was Tartaglia. Once you made it to the door you looked at the little hole it had to look out and you were surprised to the one and only Ichika "No way... I must be dreaming" you said to yourself and opened the door "Y/N I MISSED YOU SO MUCH GIRLIE!!!" She gave you a tight hug and you couldn't breathe "Ichika what did Childe do to you and I missed you too but please let me breathe" she heard your cries for air and after a minute of not caring she finally let you go

"Hold on.. let me catch my breath real quick. 'inhale' .So..Ichika, what brings you to my little abode here in Liyue"

You were both now in the kitchen area

"I heard from Childe before we got here that our harbingers are gonna be in Inazuma soon but yours will leave a bit earlier than mine since he still has some work to do"

"Interesting. I didn't know about this till now that you showed up out of nowhere. Want some tea?" You said as you grabbed some tea bags out of the shelf

"Maybe they were gonna tell you today. And how come you're not in uniform? Were you getting ready?"

"You didn't answer my question. And to answer your questions I'm on my day off, I get one each Sunday"

"Oh right, no I'm good. I barely get my days off maybe it's once each 2 weeks depending on what's going on, I thought u never had any of those from what I've heard on how your boss is."

"Those harbingers are never still. I can tell Childe trains all of you on practically the daily"

"You're not wrong Y/N, your not wrong..."

"And now that you mentioned it, it's true many people talk bad about The Balladeer but I think he's not that much of a bad guy I say he's pretty sweet sometimes"

"What now?"

"Ignore what I said that was dumb I'm gonna take a bath and maybe do some cleaning. This place gets real dusty when I'm not here"

"You do you, I'm heading out because I have work assigned for today so byeeee"

"Ok goodbye girl!"

The house was quiet and empty now and you headed to the bathroom to take a bath and when you were done you heard the door again "Just a minute!" You hurried and put some clothes and got to the door again "Ichika did you leave som- huh?" An electro cicin mage was standing at your door with a letter "Goodmorning! Ms. Y/N I assume? This is a message for you straight from The Balladeer take it and have a nice day." "Oh ok. Thank you. " you took the letter, closed the door, went to your living room couch and opened the letter and it read it 'So im getting a new assignment today. So much for a day off' you thought to yourself

"Well I better get there In a bit I guess" you already took a bath so all you needed to do was get your diplomat uniform on and make your way there as quick as you could so that's what you did. By the time you got done it went from 7:45am to 9:20am, luckily the little apartment that Tartaglia had given you was near the bank so you made it there quickly. When you entered you went to the counter and met the never changing Ekaterina wich you had to talk to before you went anywhere inside some specific parts of the bank

"Goodmorning Ekaterina"

"Goodmorning Y/N, welcome to the Northland Bank. How may I assist you?"

"I'm here because The Balladeer called me in and he gave me a letter to show you" you gave her the card

She took the card "If I were to guess at this point I'd say you're his favorite. You're the only person that goes to his office atleast once a week on the monthly basis, you should feel honored"

"I don't think I'm his favorite. I mean, i couldn't be I'm only a diplomat after all I were truly his favorite I'd be ranked up but it's been a year and I'm still a diplomat. That ends my side of the argument"

"Mhm, I bet 10 mora you enter that room and get ranked up"

"You always say that"

"I know I do but who knows, maybe today could be the day"

"Yeah yeah. I'll get going now, let's chat later. Bye!"

"Ok cya!"

You were walking in the small hallway and made it to his door, you knocked and heard the voice from inside telling you to go in and so you did.

"Goodmorning Mr. Balladeer I am here" you approached his desk and sat on the sane chair you always sit on in front of his desk

"Stop it with the formalities Y/N I've already told you just address me as Scaramouche not The Balladeer, you use that name when you speak to other people about me"

"I just forget ok"

"How can you possibly forget something I repeat to you every time you step a foot in my office"

"Ehe.."

"Anyways before we keep losing precious time, about your new assignment. This one was planned for a very long time and we're now putting it in motion and it's related with Inazuma. We'll be headed out there to finish some work the Tsaritsa has been giving us and you're coming along as an electro cicin mage."

"Ok so let me get this straight..I'm gonna be a cicin mage, IM GONNA HAVE CICIN!" you were filled with joy to hear that you were finally getting ranked up to be a cicin mage

"Yes you proved to me with your combat skills that you can wield the delusion of a cicin mage and from now on I made the decision you're going to be a cicin mage working beside me at all times in Inazuma and once we get back too"

"Does this mean I get payed more?"

"A slight more"

"HAHA! More mora for my half broke ass"

"Ok that's enough screaming and celebration you're giving me a headache. And also, one more thing, the trip to Inauzma will be in a few days so start get ready for it. You may leave the room"

"Got it boss! See ya in a few days" you quickly left his office with a huge smile on you're face

'That goddamn child..' Scaramouche thought to himself with a faint smile

Well this is the end of this chapter. I once again apologize for practically getting the milk and not posting for so long I kinda forgot abt this then today I logged back in bc I had a notification (Ty mikosboobs very creative name love it) that's when I remembered. Well anyways I'm back and I plan on posting how I used to each weekend and not letting any of yall wait years for me to post. See ya'll in the next chapter, stay safe and buh bye!
