Third Person POV:
“Seeing you alone here, I assume that you are the owner?” Seok Jin nodded as he stood up, peeking inside his place waiting for the oven to finish its own business.
“Its okay if you’re not comfortable talking about your life, I can wait.” Jung Kook gave Seok Jin an assuring smile that makes Seok Jin get drown of how adorable Jung Kook is.
“I am.” Jung Kook couldn’t express how happy he was when Seok Jin answered his question with a smile.
“I saw that, you’re alone here and you look tired.” And sad, its just, Jung Kook can’t voice it out, not wanting Seok Jin to find him annoying and being nosy.
“Uhm. No I’m not, I am living with someone.”
“A girlfriend? A boyfriend? A wife? A husband? Or your family–“
“A friend, m-my bestfriend.” Seok Jin cut off looking down and hurriedly went back at the baking station.
Jung Kook hesitates to follow him but he did anyway. “Hey, I didn’t mean to be that annoying customer, okay I will be honest.”
“I fell, I am falling and you are so soft that anyone would ever want to fall on.”
“I don’t believe at love at first sight all this time, I don’t even believe my own father when he said he fell from my Mom that way.”
“But now that I saw you, I am telling you, I fell. And I realized that– That thing really exists, and I can’t believe you too as yourself did.”
“You’re so beautiful and gentle and you got me, you got me and I want to get to know you more. Please don’t find me weird–“
“You don’t really look like one, b-but your words made my heart beats l-like crazy, i-is that a confession? O-Or just a random question?”
“B-Because I’m not r-really used to this kind of thing, w-we are impossible to look at…”
“I will accept it i-if you want to t-take back what y-you just said, I will forgive you if you w-will say i-it’s just a joke.”
Jung Kook lean his side at the kitchen counter as he looks at Seok Jin. “But its not a joke I am serious Seok Jin. And if you think that us is impossible, I will make it possible. We will.”
Seok Jin tried to walk away but Jung Kook chuckled as he stood straight scratching his forehead. “You are in a different direction, oven is this way, so? How about a dinner tomorrow? You can do some research about me, but I doubt you will do that, you’re very busy too and the passion in your eyes about your business makes me fall deeper.”
Seok Jin shyly turn his heel as he faced Jung Kook. He’s not really kidding b-but what am I going to do? H-His looks intimidates me– OH. No did he heard my thoughts? He’s now smiling and it can makes my heart calm. Seok Jin thought.
“You are cute.” Seok Jin says, Jung Kook got flustered as both of their eyes widen. Seok Jin even covered his mouth, he then took a step and was about to walk passed Jung Kook but he didn’t had the chance to do it when Jung Kook grins as he loosen the buttons of his sleeves.
“People usually calls me handsome but not cute and you just caused another feelings that my stomach feels like there's a weird things inside, dancing.”
“Seok Jin I was about to say that to you but I guess you caught me off guard there, so? Is the dinner tomorrow fine?”
Seok Jin nervously got the courage to check the cakes as he watch it getting fluffy and soft. “I-I can’t my friend is busy at the seminar on how we can do a better job of running a bakery, I am all alone and I need to work two times faster to fill his absence.” Seok Jin said honestly as he smiled when it’s all ready to takes out the eight round breads on the oven.
Jung Kook watched Seok Jin excitedly putting all of it at the station where he’ll decorate them, Jung Kook didn’t usually eat cakes because it is too sweet for him, he even note to Seok Jin to design it based on his own preference but Seok Jin refused the idea.
Seok Jin still wanted to keep their boundaries as customer and owner.
“Actually, its for my Mom and her friends, I don’t really know what their taste is, since I don’t really usually eat cakes or any sweets. I think sweet foods are just for kids–“
Jung Kook saw how Seok Jin pouted. “But I like sweets, am I child then?” Seok Jin asks teary eyed.
“H-Hey I didn’t mean to offend you, okay, okay since Mom isn’t at the age where she should eat some sweets how about the four are sweets and the three is just on the average? How about that?” Jung Kook said in defense as he took a steps closer to Seok Jin, wanting to pinch his cheeks so much but he held himself back.
“But you ordered eight, how about the remaining one?”
Jung Kook leans his back, he crossed his arms looking at Seok Jin with a grin. “Its your taste, I want to taste what you preferred, maybe then you can change my mind on eating sweets?”
Then Seok Jin did a great job for convincing Jung Kook.
Even Jung Kook was proud of himself for following his instinct to stop at Seok Jin’s bakery as the location of his phone is leading him to the famous cake brands that he didn’t even know, its just the internet preferred bakery.
He stayed, Seok Jin watched him happily enjoying the cake that he made, he was so happy and when he doesn’t have any reason to stay Seok Jin was beaming sending him back to his car to go home.
He receives some scolding from his mother but Jung Kook just happily hug her saying... “My beautiful, kindest and the most caring Mom ever, I promise to always obey your requests, I will always put some cakes on our refrigerator from now on.”
As Mrs. Jeon looks weird at his son while Jung Kook’s arms is still wrapped around her waist. “That’s so unusual of you son, I thought you’ll be upset for my request since you have a very tight schedule this week.”
Jung Kook hides his big smile while his mother gave him a curious looks on her face while suppressing her smile. Jung Kook couldn’t hold it back as he smiled widely while slicing the cake that Seok Jin had made.
