Third Person POV:
Taehyung turned his heels that made Seok Jin to face his back, he was about to leave when Jung Kook speaks. “You should come inside too.” That made Taehyung stop doing another step of walking away.
Jung Kook was shocked and was so sure that Taehyung heard him for turning back. “Jin I’m thirsty c-can I have a glass of water before leaving?” Taehyung blurted out as he headed in front of the house and patiently wait for Seok Jin to open it as he looks at his shoes tapping it on the rough ground unconsciously.
Taehyung wasn’t lying, he is really thirsty.
Seok Jin leads the way and Jung Kook took a seconds to stood straight in front of Taehyung whose eyes is still on the ground.
Jung Kook chuckled at how pathetic he is. “I thought humans are cruel for doing such things on harming one another.”
“But turning into souls is the worst, begging for people to see you that even animals couldn’t.” Jung Kook seethed as he hurriedly followed Seok Jin and force a smile when his eyes saw and made him realized again, that even door, he couldn’t touch, for him to close it.
Jung Kook forced a smile when Taehyung felt the breeze and step inside their house.
Seok Jin offered a tea and a water, Taehyung took the glass of water instead as he finished it in one go.
Seok Jin looks at him weirdly and quickly stood up as Taehyung coughs. Jung Kook examine Taehyung’s expression as Seok Jin shut his eyes when Jung Kook hugs him from behind.
“T-Thanks for this Jin, I will go now.” Taehyung couldn’t utter a words as Jung Kook blocked his way.
Jung Kook looks at Seok Jin who is wearing a questionable look. “Babe, I need to go somewhere with him, its about my case. I need to know it, fully.” Jung Kook stated that leave Seok Jin dumbfounded.
“Open the door Babe, he knows some things that I don’t and I know some things that he didn’t have any idea of. I promise I will come back.” Jung Kook reassures and after Seok Jin nodded controlling his sobs to hide it from Taehyung, the two steps out from the house, Taehyung still didn’t speak at all.
Jung Kook has a feeling that Taehyung can see him, hear him but he isn’t sure why he is still in denial.
And seeing Taehyung walking fasts, he is afraid that Taehyung is doing it on purpose so he wouldn’t be able to get close to him.
So as Taehyung opened the door of the driver seats, Jung Kook made his way first and settled at the passenger seat.
Taehyung took his phone out as he dialed his brother’s number.
After a few rings, he took off and stepped the accelerator of his car, keeping his eyes fix on the road. “Joon!”
Taehyung shouted as he heard Nam Joon breathing and grunting on the other line. “So loud Hyung.~” Nam Joon complained.
“Is it important? About the Jeon? Or about the Jin?” Taehyung rubbed his lips using his index finger as he is still finding the right words to explain what he is feeling.
“Joon, D-Do you believe in–“
“In love? The love that you said only in your paintings works? The love that only exists in family and passion? But it all changed when you saw a man with the sharp jaw line and plump lips?”
“You’ve said that the man who is Kim Seok Jin is the definition of love, a man that is connected to your paintings because him, himself is a definition of art and worth heart beating human?” Nam Joon said proudly, and sounds like he was getting tired of repeating the same lines all over again as he cut off his brother’s question.
Taehyung let out a deep sigh as Nam Joon reminds him how he described Seok Jin to his brother the first time he saw Seok Jin.
“N-Never mind, Joon, this is important, you should stay in line, okay?” Taehyung demands and Jung Kook chuckled as he turned his body completely facing Taehyung.
“Kim Taehyung.” Jung Kook calls out.
“Hyung! Don’t tell me you had a change of heart now! You better not or I’m going to work on introducing myself to Jin!”
“You are with someone right now?! Don’t fucking tell me–“
And that was enough for Taehyung’s blood to goes up at the level of his neck, the hair he has on his arms and legs had joined.
“Kim Taehyung, you are seeing things right.” Jung Kook says as Taehyung still avoids their eye contact.
“H-How?”
“Really?! You are asking me that question now? We are just together a while ago to discuss new things that you freshly found out and now you are acting like a strong man who can easily move on to someone like Kim Seok Jin?–“ Taehyung ended the line from his brother, he is so loud for Taehyung’s mind to process.
Plus, Nam Joon keeps getting the wrong idea and Taehyung being denial and distracted forgot to ask Seok Jin about his father's medical record, the purpose why he went to Seok Jin’s place.
“Taehyung… Jin.”
“Jin needs me, but he also need someone like you, the words I am going to say isn’t easy for me but I have to...”
“I don’t trust you before, but I should trust you now. You are the only one who is aware and was working on that person’s past, and your suspicion towards that person is the same as mine.”
“Taehyung, I have to ask you some favor and I am not giving you a choice but to do it, alright?” Jung Kook said as he looks intently at Taehyung.
“Please help me not to hurt him, for now I am his strength, but soon, I’ll turn out as his weakness too, I need you to guide him, be strong for him.”
Taehyung was gripping his steering wheel tight as his heart was rapidly screwing his whole system, he didn’t know why, he didn’t know how but he can really see and hear Jung Kook’s voice.
He couldn’t exercise all of the possibilities, he couldn’t, but he have to face it.
“You’ll be fine.” Taehyung stated, he had taken a few breathings before he called the attention of the soul, who is near of losing himself. “Jung Kook, you’ll be fine.”
“Just hold on to your husband’s hope. He is hopeful Jung Kook, he loves you, so you should leave me alone and spend time with him–“
“Wait how about Seok Jin? Does he know you are roaming around? Can he see you? Hear you?” Taehyung couldn’t help his worries, his hopes for Seok Jin and Jung Kook, as he expressed his curiosity.
