Third Person POV:

I love you so much to leave you alone, I love you so much and its stabbing me with a rusty knife hundred times knowing that I might break the promise that I made when you allowed me in your life.

The promise that I made, not making you feel lonely again, the way you were living your life before.

The moment I saw you at the cake shop you owns, putting all of your heart for the people buying it to celebrate their birthday’s, their anniversary, the birthday’s of their pets, achievements, heartbreaks or just cravings.

I knew... I knew back then that I fell from your sight designing the cakes that I am always willing to buy.

Jung Kook reminisce when he first met Seok Jin as he looks up in the dark skies.

His mother asked him to find a good but nearby cake shop for her friends coming over at their house.

Jung Kook is on his way to their house when his mother asked him the favor, he is knackered with a lot of meetings and scheduled investors meet ups at their company.

But when the name and the designs of the bakery caught his attention he parked his car in front of the bakery looking around at the whole place as he watch the man running around alone with pastry bag on his right hand and a box of cake on the other hand.

His sweats was beautifully shining going down to his jaw, Jung Kook tensed a bit causing his forehead to formed a beads of sweat watching the man writing the message at the cake as he watch the satisfied looks plastered of the lines of the customers around the bakery.

He looked up at the bakery name and smile. ‘Treat Shot Spin Bakery’

He spends almost fifteen minutes watching all of the customers leaving with a smile on their faces.

The man didn’t smiles that long though. He is focused and serious, he will just say thank you and bowed his head with a little smile that Jung Kook notice is just a forced one, he didn’t know actually and he is willing to know.

As Jung Kook watched Seok Jin stretched his body after giving the last customer on the line, he fixed his coat as he slowly took a step closer to the counter.

“Hi, may I see some designs and flavors?” The man return to his professional posture with his blank, yet adorable expression.

He then bowed his head to Jung Kook who are smiling wide at him. “I’m so sorry but all of it are sold out.”

Jung Kook’s mind quickly response as he acts cute while humming, he scratch his chin looking problematic and dramatic over a cake that he didn’t notice he let go easily because he was so drowned watching Seok Jin while the others already place and take their oders.

“Uhm. Anything will be okay even a box of cup cakes if you still have some, I just really need it.” Jung Kook said in a very desperate tone he can pull out with his shockingly acting skills.

“You have a really nice name.” Jung Kook added as he looks at the pin hanging on the left side of the man's pink coat, he then remember the bakery name which sounded his own name, 'Shot Spin', Interesting. Jung Kook thought.

“T-Thank you, a-and about cupcakes its also sold out, reservations and orders are taken and there’s nothing left at the baking station back there.” Seok Jin said politely while pointing his thumb on his back where the designated place of baking is located, his baking station.

“I am doomed.” Jung Kook whispers but Seok Jin heard it. “I-I’m sorry to disappoint you Sir on your first time in 'Treat Shot Spin' but there’s a lot of bakeries and cake shops around this area you should try checking them out.” Seok Jin said in a concern and friendly tone.

“They are all the same, I want to try yours, this place of yours surely has a different vibes but I guess it’s my unlucky day.”

“I guess I should just go home empty handed then, thank you.”

“I will be really done.” Jung Kook added as he scratch his nape.

Seok Jin watch Jung Kook’s back being so down, disappointed, Jung Kook then gently made his shoes roll at some stones on the road.

Seok Jin ran towards his directions and bowed his head looking at Jung Kook’s sparky eyes.

As Seok Jin avoids his gaze he went back at being down and worried, he is really worried but seeing Seok Jin in front of him excites him at some point.

“I-If you want I-I can make you some, depends on your taste and request but it will take some time and– Uhm, a little bit pricey, i-is that okay?” Seok Jin hesitantly asks as he looks at Jung Kook’s who showed his full smile revealing his teeth that made Seok Jin smiled as his nervousness disappears around Jung Kook.

Seok Jin told him to just wait from his car or just go back after he is done at the eight boxes of cakes he ordered but he insisted staying.

Seok Jin nicely made him a cup of coffee when Jung Kook stood at the counter repeatedly tapping the glass made counter with his fingernails creating a little noise because of his nails, Seok Jin saw it and let Jung Kook in and asks him the drink he would like to have while waiting, he preferred a milk instead that Seok Jin silently adores.

Jung Kook looks around the bakery longue while waiting, looking around the plain yet calming interior of the bakery, he felt honored since the other customers isn’t allowed and didn’t got to see what the bakery looks like inside but he did and it made him felt so good.

He wanted to order more for Seok Jin to earn a large amount of money but he didn’t want to make him tired, first impression matters.

He finished the whole pack of banana milk as he waited for Seok Jin to come out and after a long but precious moments, he did came out.

“Sorry for leaving you alone, you look like a businessman, aren’t you busy with something? I told you Sir, you can go back after all of the eight boxes are done, I will contact you and give you a discount next time–“

“Its okay I can wait for you, yes I am a businessman my family owns a large company that you might or you might not know but it’s really a well known company, and I’m really a busy man but its okay I can make time because you are worth the wait…”

Jung Kook noticed Seok Jin got confused and shocked with what he said, he didn’t want Seok Jin to find him creepy and weird, again, for Jung Kook, first impression. “I-I mean the cakes are surely worth the wait, I saw your customers leaving with beautiful smiles on their faces but not as beautiful as you.”

Seok Jin fidget his fingers rubbing his sweaty palms on his apron. “I’m Jeon Jung Kook, here’s my ID, my company ID, my student ID and my family picture along with my first graduation picture–“

Seok Jin chuckled as he shyly looks at the nervous and worried Jung Kook. “Alright Sir. I trust you, that you are really a decent man and I didn’t doubt that the moment you walked in here, and that’s also the reason why I let you in.”

“Is this cake for your girlfriend?” Seok Jin added on his first statement as he nervously sat across Jung Kook. “No, but let's see for a boyfriend?” Jung Kook says in a confident manner as he took a sip while eyeing Seok Jin.
