Third Person POV:
Taehyung carry on his plan as he dragged Mr. Choi at the place that is for him, has been too much to have a sight.
“Why? Was the word guilt isn’t enough for you to understand what may happen behind that door?” Mr. Choi glanced up at the name where Jung Kook’s name was written at the side of the door.
“Where do you think you’re going?–“
“I changed my mind! I am ready to admit all of my mistakes! But you are turning blind eye about the Jeon’s!”
Taehyung’s breath hitched. Nam Joon have said it multiple times already. Jeon’s involvement with the mess that fires up about their connection with Mr. Kim’s accident.
But coming that possibility from the man who manipulate and was hiding the truth just doesn’t make sense at all.
Taehyung was confident with the Jeon’s. And Jung Kook is the proof of it. “Come to think of it, why I suddenly showed up after so long?”
“Part of me is searching for a peace of mind that I know I don’t deserve at all!”
“However… I came here to inform you that you’re on watch by the Park's–“
Choi Yeon Jung got himself out from Taehyung’s grip, he rushed to ran where the elevator was located when Jung Kook’s door swung free that caused his body to crashed onto it.
“You!” Nam Joon opened it at the right time that Taehyung blanked out with what he heard. “I said let go of me! You’re not going to listen to my side anyway! You are next Kim Taehyung! Stay away from the Jeon’s, Park’s are watching!”
“It is Kim Seok Jin originally! He’d decided to dig his father’s past but Jeon Jung Kook got the rock smack on his head!”
No matter how hard Choi Yeon Jung making himself free from Nam Joon, it was no use.
Everything was just a piece of assumptions that they all made a connection, but was now making sense. “Why do you think he did that?! Its because he may know about Mr. Kim being the lead on the project that has been vanished with his father’s order!”
Choi Yeon Jung just didn’t give up, shaming and throwing lots of possibilities that he could get himself out for a breath that he was longing for so long by doing such an act.
Mr. Jeon appeared with his wife. “So after hiding for so long, you’re here to pass all of that speculation to us?”
“All right, in times like this, legality is needed. Law’s are made and it means it should be used in times like this.”
“I will give you some time to talk to us without a recording. And now I am inviting you to the place where you will lose yourself but will give you clarification whether to tell us the truth or continue living sinful.”
Mr. Jeon wasn’t in an expression that he might be losing his insanity to invite the man who hurt his son, neither the person who was vulnerable to show any emotion that could make him do a reckless action.
Because that’s the last thing that he want himself to become, just like the man in front of him. “Honey, I won’t let that man to be near our son ever again!– He might kill our Jung Kook right now!”
Mrs. Jeon’s eyes wasn’t covered unlike her husband, and she doesn’t have any plan to hide her anger. “Its over...” Mr. Jeon breathed out, calmly, but the slight cracked on his voice that was toughing out to say those two words was just too much.
“I called an authority, they are coming.” Nam Joon stated before sliding his phone inside his coat.
Taehyung was spacing out but his mind didn’t missed an important part that he doesn’t have any plan of slipping out again. The truth. The truth that Seok Jin deserves to know along with the Jeon’s and the man who knows all of the things he has been keeping to himself.
“I need to call Seok Jin and Yoongi.”
But there’s no need for him to do that when Yoongi appeared behind Mrs. Jeon closing the door. “Yoongi? I thought you went home with…”
Yoongi shook his head. “He insists to stay with his husband's side, he’s inside, exhausted.” Yoongi breathed out, but the calm on his tone swept away as his gaze lands into the man he wasn’t expecting to see.
“Kim Taehyung?–“
Taehyung couldn’t think of anything when he went inside where Jung Kook’s body and soul was.
And he’s not wrong at all. He saw Jung Kook was sitting near Seok Jin. Their hands was glued to each other, it is perfectly fitted.
There’s no jealousy nor envy. Never once he felt that. It is always, regrets and admiration towards their marriage.
It is a good sight if Jung Kook isn’t pale and looking exhausted. He’s still unreal for a man who is having a hard time for his life, and Seok Jin’s puffy face isn’t helping for Taehyung to avoid the situation outside the room.
“We need to talk.” Was Taehyung could only utter before he went outside straight.
He could hear Nam Joon calling his name, even Mr. and Mrs. Jeon but he shut his eyes with the feelings stirring his heart and mind.
All he has in mind is Jung Kook and Seok Jin, he’s not into drama and ghosts thing. Who would have thought it is real all along?
Taehyung didn’t wastes more time, he didn’t want their eyes to meet. He will say what he wants and never waste more time. “What’s the truth?”
They stopped at the emergency exit. Only breathings can be heard as an answer to his question until he heard a sobs and Taehyung knows its not Jung Kook whom he called on for a talk.
“Seok Jin?” Yeah right, he’s not really functioning well when he forgot that Seok Jin doesn’t have any idea that he could see Jung Kook.
“Truth?” Seok Jin asks, as if he heard a question that has been hard to answer ever since. “The truth how Dad died the day of Mom’s birthday and Yoongi’s graduation?”
“The day that was supposed to be us celebrating and was saying a word congratulations?”
“But an accident that is now pointed out was cleared. Tae, the truth that the doctor told us that the operation was an immediate action and was expensive for our status?”
Seok Jin reminisce how the hell happened that the president of the hospital where his father got admitted was the one he had a conversation for his father’s operation.
