Third Person POV:

“You do left flowers on Jung Kook’s tomb, before you left, on his first birthday and today.” Taehyung avoids Seok Jin’s gaze in defeat. He didn’t try to argue to deny nor confirmed it, it wasn’t a question to begin with and Seok Jin is smart to know that its him who did that.

“Do you remember the invitation you’ve got at the museum?”

Taehyung dully remembered, but he did. “I don’t know what you’re talking about–“

Seok Jin pressed his lips, smiling as he nod his head. Ignoring Taehyung’s in denial response Seok Jin stood up as he put the flower where Taehyung put the piece he had took home. “You know him don’t you?”

“Mr. Jimmy Monroe, the person who presents all of his husband’s painting’s to commemorate his art works.”

Taehyung knew, of course he knew who Jimmy Monroe is… He’s the first person he had talked about Seok Jin at Australia without actually mentioning Seok Jin’s name.

“I guess you had a hunch that he knew me, and was conniving with me just to meet you. I’ve been into three different countries before I ended up at Australia, and I can’t believe you are spending time with him without knowing who he is for the time being.”

Right. Taehyung just discovered Mr. Monroe’s identity when someone called him to his name when Mr. Monroe was having a look at the museum.

Seok Jin often ask Mr. Monroe’s days and by the stories Mr. Monroe have shared from the person he thought Seok Jin didn’t know, Mr. Monroe was wrong when Seok Jin asked him a favor to meet the person and he’ll hide.

All of Taehyung’s intention to let Seok Jin recover, let himself heal, let time tell if they’re really for each other. “I finally saw you…”

Taehyung had his tears on his cheeks flowing already as he walked closer to Seok Jin. “You and Jung Kook… I can accept the fact that you two are happily living together, but I am having a hard time to accept that you’ll be happy with me after the person whom you want to spend you life with is– I’m so sorry…” As Taehyung still couldn't utter the truth, he cried silently.

Seok Jin can relate himself to what Taehyung was implying. Taehyung is right. The following days he woke up at the room that he was the only one lying after Jung Kook was declared dead. He couldn’t really find a reason to live. Seok Jin’s world collapsed, he felt as the most selfish person to think only himself how he could move the next day without Jung Kook around him. Without Jung Kook’s hand he could touch every time Jung Kook warmth from his soul wasn’t enough.

Seok Jin didn’t look for someone, even at himself through the mirror. He couldn’t picture himself without Jung Kook.

The last promise that Jung Kook sealed was… “I will always… Always stay…”

“Always.”

“Always by your side.” Seok Jin swallowed as he remembers Jung Kook’s statement when they were peacefully sitting at the mountain.

“There’s no point of tracing us.” Taehyung mumbled, already turning his heels to hide another storm of his tears, his actions that was opposite to what his mouth and mind was bubbling.

Don’t go… Was the word that his other voice says, but Taehyung didn’t let it win.

Seok Jin from country to one another arrives at the beautiful church at Australia which leads him to see a familiar face, with a smile they both had an understanding and a dinner together, connects and recollects how they had their last dinner...
