Chapter 3 So we started talking

Saturday June 7,2012

Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!! that was Tyler. Tyler Christie. I love him and his videos. I hope I didn't look like a freak in front of him. he seemed so nice and kind and....... ah I can't even believe it!

So after I got all the smoothie I could off my shirt I stepped out of the bathroom. I was both relieved and disappointed that Tyler wasn't there anymore. so I walked up to the counter to place my order but before I could even order the cashier lady quickly stopped me and said,

"oh we've already got a smoothie here for you. a boy said he wanted you to have it and not pay. he also said to give you this note. and from the way I see it, I think he has a crush on you."

" Oh, well.......... thank you. you have a nice day"

"You too, sweetie!"

I walked out of the shop and down the street. him liking me!impossible! i walked to the park and sat on a wooden bench near the lake. I started drinking my smoothie and realized the note. I'd forgotten about that with all of the craziness that had just happened earlier. he cared enough to write me a letter? I opened it and started reading his straight and neat hand writing.

Dear mystery girl,

I'm still really sorry and feel really bad about the smoothie. it was MY fault not yours. but anyways, I would really like to talk with you sometime so if you want here's my number, lets chat sometime. (his number was here).
Bye! tyler

OH.MY.GOD. he gave me his number. tyler christie gave me his number. should I texted him right now? ugh I don't know what to do! wait ........ I looked up and realized that the sun was just starting to set I looked at my phone and saw it was 4:45, shit! my dads gonna kill me. I ran to the closest trash can and threw away my now empty smoothie cup and started running to get home.

" Where the helllllll werrrrrrre you" said my father drunker than usual.

I ignored him and started up the stairs.

"Dooonnt you valk avway fffffrrrrromm meeeeee youuuuu bitsch !"

I continued to ignore him. I slammed my door shut just to let him know I wasn't going down there and lock it just to make sure he didn't come in. I decided that now would be a better time than any to try and text tyler.

Me: hey, you left a note with a smoothie you bought me to text you so I'm texting you. and thank you for the drink that was very sweet of you.

And to my surprise he responded really quick.

Tyler: hey! and your welcome it was the least I could do. so, hey I never got to ask but what's your name?

Me: my names Sage Wilson.

Tyler: oh, cool! that is a really cool and pretty name.

Me: thanks.

Tyler: so I know we literally met like a few hours ago, but would you like to go to the park with me tomorrow? Maybe a little bit before 12 then we can head to get some lunch?

Me: sure! That'd be cool.

Tyler: okay cool! ill see you then. I have to start editing videos. I guess you know I'm on youtube.

Me: yeah, I watch your videos.

Tyler: yeah, well I'll see you later. and I hope you enjoy my new vid coming up.

Me: bye! I'll watch your vid when I have the chance.

I closed my phone smiling so much my checks started to hurt. I'm going hang out with tyler tomorrow. for the rest of the day and all night I was the happiest person alive. I couldn't wait for tomorrow!
