Lead the way

Chapter 1-The beginning

Emilia's pov
"Come Emilia get up you said you'd help me today" I hear a voice says "Okay okay clam your fins luca I'm getting up" I say and finally I was awake and after breakfast we started the chors for the day "oh no no no fish out the barn, mum's gonna kill me" luca says freaking out. Wow does he need to chill out "luca relax let's jut round them up" I say and we did that luca being a bit more frantic then me but that's how it's always been, I'm the more chill one where as he worries about basically everything. Once we fianlly got them all together again "alright let's head out" luca says and he leads with me swimming behind the fish and one the way we said hi to others as we swam past, we eventually get to the spot for the fish with of course luca making sure there were no land monsters about. Okay the cost was clear "Okay I'll be the look out" I said "just be careful" luca says "I'll be fine" I say and swam slightly up to get a better look but I kinda felt like I was being watched so I looked around but saw nothing. Okay Emilia relax your just getting nervous but before I could even make a reaction "land monsters Emilia hide!" Luca yelled and quickly I found the nearest rock to hide under, okay that was far yo close "luca, Emilia lunch is ready!" I hear Mrs Paguro yell "coming!" I yelled back and swam as fast as I could back. I made it just before luca did "your 2 minutes late....was there a boat?" Mrs Paguro asked "yea" I said. I quickly swam in before I got told off and wait for lunch, there was a smaller island away from what must be the main land monster island. I always wondered what was over there but never went there "you okay?" Luca asked and I snapped out of my daze "yea I'm fine" I said starting to eat a little, he clearly didn't by that as we both know each other well enough to know when the other is lieing about something. After lunch we head back out "hey um mind if I skip out for a while" I asked "um I don't know if it's a good idea mean what if land monsters see you" luca says "I'll be careful" I say and swam off before he said anything else. I Eventually found a spot to be alone and I sat on a rock I sighed a little "come on its no use, can't believe I still think they'll ever come back" I say quietly. I wish there was someone out there that fully understood how I felt so I could talk about how I felt, don't get me wrong I would love to talk about this with luca but he has enough to worry about with how over protective his mother is.
