Emilia's pov
My heart broke more seeing as Alberto trashed everything in his tower and I went to sit on the roof, guess I shouldn't be surprised even my own parents didn't want me so why would anyone else. Alberto soon came up and sat next to me "hey listen we can still find a way to run away with just me and you, let's forget about luca" he says and I smile at him. I'm happy that at least one person understands how I feel right now "Alberto I wanna tell you something, I've thought about this since I first met you and I wanna come out and say it, I love you alberto scorfano" I say. I got a little nervous when he didn't respond right but he soon takes a hold my hands "I love you too" he says and I felt such relief as he said this and officially we became boyfriend and girlfriend. I have never felt so safe in my life then being in his arms and as night had fallen and I was just about to sleep I hear luca's voice "Al luca's here" I say and Alberto nodded and goes to see what he wants. I sat myself up and stayed by the fire "what do you want?" Alberto asked luca "I wanna apologise for what happened, I shouldn't of done that, is Emilia up there?" I hear luca asked. I did not wanna talk to him "I don't think she wants to talk to or even see you anymore so just go away" Alberto says as then joins me, after a couple seconds luca came up "Alberto what are all those marks on the wall......tell me what they mean" he says softly. I looked up at Alberto "I started when my dad left" he says quietly "you were living up here alone for that meany days" luca says surprised "i stopped counting after a while, he said I was old enough to be on my own, he was better off without me anyway so are you" Alberto says. I see tears in his eyes and put a comforting hand on his shoulder "your a good kid luca, I'm just the kid that ruins everything" Alberto says "Okay stop right there Mr, you do not ruin a thing" I say to him. I knew deep down that something more had happened with his farther that he wasn't comfortable with talking about "silenzio bruno, that's just the dumb voice in your head you taught me that, getting a vespa and seeing the world that is still a possibility" luca says. Alberto sighs "don't be serious, why would you ever wanna stay and be miserable when yiur actually wanna go to school with Giulia" he says and I stood up "look luca you should just go now" I say to him holding back my tears as best as I can. He sighs "Okay I'll go.....I'll go win the race for us" luca says "that's crazy" Alberto says "well then if I'm crazy.....take me gravity!" Luca yelled jumping of the side into the tree "luca!" Both me and Alberto yelled running to see if he was okay "I'll be back, I'm gonna fix this!" He yelled as he head off. I can't believe he is willing to risk exposure to the humans make up to us "Al I know what he did was not right but can we at least go to support him" I say and after thinking he nods "yes of course" Alberto days and I smile.
