Chapter 2-A new friend

Emilia's pov
Okay something was definitely up with luca as for the past couple days he's been coming home late each night so today I was gonna follow him and what i found out shocked me, he went up to the surface. I slowly swam up and pokes my head out of the water "hey luca....wait who's that?" I hear a voice say, I realised that it was the other boy with luca "hey it's alight I know her, come Emilia get over here" luca says. Slowly I swam over and end up on the surface but of course I fell then saw my scales changed to skin "Okay that is just weird" I said trying to stand "wow take it easy" the other boy says. I did eventually stand up "oh right Emilia this  is Alberto scorfano, Alberto this is Emilia" luca says "um hi" I said. Okay don't screw it up because he's cute "hey, you wanna hang with us?" Alberto asked "you sure your okay with that?" I said sounding like I was asking "well yea otherwise I wouldn't of asked" he says. I definitely couldn't pass this up "well then I'm in" I say and man did we all have a lot of fun, Alberto managed to find me some clothes and at night we were looking up at the sky. Today was so much fun "what are all those things up there?" Luca asked referring to the dots in the sky "anchovies they go there to sleep" alberto says "really?" Luca says in slight disbelief "yea and the big fish protects them, I touch it once, I mean it felt like a fish" Alberto says. I looked over at him while and he wasn't paying attention to me and man there was something about him that I was already falling for "wow your life is so much more cooler then mine, I never go anywher I just dream about it" luca says. I finally snapped out of my daze "you came up here" Alberto says and luca gets up "thanks to you, otherwise I would've never seen any of this" luca says. I smiled seeing how happy he was "hey you ever been to the human town?" Luca asked "yea....um no but my dad told me all about it so I'm kind of an expert" Alberto says getting up and standing next to luca "your dad sounds so cool, your lucky he let's you do whatever you want" luca says. I don't know if I was seeing things but I swear Alberto looked a bit upset "yea for sure" he says and fianlly I came and stood with them to look at the town. The lights looked really pretty in the night "so what about you how exactly do you and luca know eachother?" Alberto asked me "oh um well I don't really wanna talk about it" I say looking away. I had to or they would see me crying a bit "oh sorry if I upset you" Alberto says "it's fine don't worry about it" I say whipping his eyes.
