Yes, waiting something Wendy did for years.

-----------------------------------

ASHTON'S POV:

Wendy's skin was paler than snow and she seemed almost like a porcelain doll in her fragile state. Her eyes lay shut, as her body hung motionless in my arms.

I turn towards the others, who began huddling around the frozen brunette. Like an eerie movie, the room crept to coldness and a dog covered our eyes. The memories literally fading away.

She gasps out for a breath as if her nonexistent life depends on breathing. Her eyes shot open instantly and her white, cold hand grips my old tshirt tightly. As her fingers squeeze, my rising and falling chest tickles with frigid air.

"Where am I?" Wendy coughs out from her sudden awakening. Her shock eyes, more vibrant than ever, look into mine before she jumps out of my arms. Her face holds a look of unfamiliarity. I shrug and shake my head. Blinking slowly the dark room vanishes from my sight.

I awake to where I was lying before the madness started. Wendy still lay in the same booth, blacked out. I get up, looking around at the other boys, all unconscious. The lights flicker above like they are about to blow out. The gasping of air is heard from behind me. I whip around to see John, Wendy's brother. He clasps his hand of his chest and eyes look to me almost mimicking his sisters motions. Fear takes over the boy as he processes the moments before.

12:32 am.

Soon enough Calum and Michael awake in a similar manner, chocking out a breath before looking utterly confused. We don't say anything, there is no question that would fit the answers we needed.

Minutes passing, Wendy and Luke won't open their eyes from the slumber. Luke still breaths, making us aware he is still in fact alive. Wendy was not though, she was dead and didn't need to breath, but it worried me if she would make it through the hour without the safety of the house.

Crowded around the two, awaiting their awakening. Then, just like the others, Luke's breath quickens, but instead of the confused look the rest of us woke to from the dreamland, he had a smirk.

"It's done." He says simply.

"What do you mean it's done? Luke, you can't just say that. You're not that cool, this isn't some movie where we understand right away!" Michael burst out, throwing his hands in the air and breaking the silence that was stirring in the room.

"I mean she's going to be free from the bond with the house." the bright blonde corrects himself.

"How do you know?" Michael spits out, we could lose Wendy in seconds, she hasn't woken up yet." the colored haired lad makes a great point. Wendy could vanish in thin air in a moment and we would never see her again.

I have been going to the library the last few nights, staying up and reading on it. One book mentioned a situation like this, where a past person was stuck in the place they died. The book has so much on the living dead like separating a bond from the place they died. I have the book back home." Luke starts to ramble on which was strange for him

"Oh, just shut up already and tell us if she's going to be okay or not, you idiot!" this was Michael's constant relationship with Luke, it involved lots of yelling.

"Yes, she will be fine. I can't guarantee she will choose to stay out Earth or go to Heaven, but she will be fine." he assures us calmingly.

" So, she's done that last minute thing she's always talks?" about Calum pipes in softly.

"Partially, she's forgiven her death and made peace and stuff, but there is more she can do on Earth. Wen can leave though."

"So now we just wait?" my voice cracked slightly as I speak up.

"Yes, waiting something Wendy did for years."
