The Third Party

Yuyan's Pov 

"Honey, I'm home! I got your favorite snacks" I shouted at the empty hallways going into the living room I scanned the kitchen but there is no one there "Xueer? Where are you"  Xueer has been my girlfriend for almost 2 years now and tomorrow will be our third anniversary, I have planned everything for tomorrow

I want to celebrate it at Tiger Leaping Gorge, near Lijiang, Yunnan, I know Xueer hate to be in public so I made sure that only us can enjoy the scenery, I also got her a ring today, I want to propose to her, she's been there for me and I want to give everything to her too, like how she gave me a light and hope. I open the red box and smile putting down all the things I bought at the mall and walk towards our bedroom door when I was about to reach the knob I heard something  

"ahh" a soft moan was heard inside, I thought she was just pleasuring herself and about to continue to walk inside when she moans another woman's name "Jiaqi ahh- that's the spot, faster"  my grip tighten around the little box of the ring, I lost all my senses and open the door just to see my girlfriend naked together with another naked woman, both of them covered their body with the blanket, looking all panicky 

"Xueer-" I softly said her name, you can see the horror through her eyes, but all of this doesn't make sense if she's feeling guilty now, I looked at the box on my right hand, I nodded and smile at the precious thing, I walk towards them and leave the box on top of the side table "Yuyan wait I can explain" she tried to grab my wrist "let's break up Xueer"  I looked into her and my tears I've been holding long enough, poured like rain. She tried to wipe my tears but I ended up leaving them there

When I got to the front door the weather changed from a calm evening into a dark stormy night, It's like the weather and my feelings talk and agree to make it more cinematic, where the protagonist got cheated on and will find someone to comfort her and fall in love once again, pshh who am I kidding, I am no actress nor a protagonist who is starring in one movie or even a film

I drove away from that house, far away from that bad nightmare, I don't know where I am going or where will my destination be, but all I know is, I'm standing where we first met

Flashback

"ahh- sorry about that I should have look,"   I said and collect my books that fell of the ground 

"Don't apologize I'm also not looking haha"  She helped me collect my book, when I stand up I couldn't see her face since she was bowing at me, I bent down a little and when I get to see her face, I fell in love fast and hard "by the way I'm Xueer a Performing arts major, do you perhaps study here too?" she pointed at the big school besides us, am I getting dizzy because she talks too fast or is this the effect of love?

"oh sorry I haven't introduced myself" I extended my arms and introduced "I am Yuyan and I am majoring in business english, we shake hands for a long time until it became awkwardly silent "oh- I got to go my bestfriend is calling me now, thank you"  I excuse myself'

I walk inside the empty campus, the rain has also stopped, It's been a long time since I have been here. how I miss this scenery, the noises I once despise back then, my bestfriend always appears behind my back greeting me a good morning. I sat on a bench near the open field and leaned back, closing my eyes for the possible flashback I might get 

Flashback

"hey, that barbie doll of yours has been waiting for you. really, what's up with the both of you?"  my bestfriend ask me, I got up and tidy my things up "nothing's up with us stop it, this is a one-time thing" she rolled her eyes "one-time thing my ass, don't come running back at me if she hurt you" I sigh at her and zipped my back, swinging it at my back "I'll be back for the afternoon session so don't worry"
