As planned, Ginny told her mother that they needed to go back to Diagon Alley the next morning. Molly did not want the girls to go all by themselves at first, but Ginny reminded her that she will be with the Brightest Witch so she should not worry.
It took the whole morning to convince her mother to let them go, but after hours of persuasion, she finally agreed if they promise to be back before the sun sets.
The two girls flooed to the Leaky Cauldron after having lunch with Molly. Then they flooed to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries using the fireplace at the Leaky.
Hermione felt like her stomach was twisting as they traveled. Nausea was creeping again just like most days have.
They arrived at the hospital's lobby and Ginny started walking towards the receptionist. Hermione pulled her friend back, she really needed to go to the loo, feeling the bile rising from her stomach.
"Gin, wait! I need to go to the loo first," Hermione told her friend, trying to control her shaking voice.
Ginny looked at her, seeing how pale she was. "Hermione, are you alright?" She asked worriedly.
"I'll meet you back here, I really need to go to the loo," the brunette replied, hurrying towards the loos at the side of the lobby.
Ginny glanced worriedly at her as she saw her rushing to the toilets. She decided to lineup to the Welcome Witch while waiting for Hermione to come back.
At the toilets, Hermione found a free stall. She locked the door, then kneeled in front of the toilet. She emptied her stomach of the bile that made her feel queasy. She felt so much better afterwards.
"What's happening to me?" She asked herself quietly. She has been feeling sick for a while now, a few days after she arrived at the Burrow. She just could not understand why though, she was alright when she was still at Hogwarts.
She suspected that maybe she has caught a bug or something that made her feel nauseous. But then why does it quickly goes away as fast as it has occurred? She pondered.
She quickly tidied herself before exiting the toilets, thanking Merlin that nobody was in the toilets with her. She still gets looks of admiration wherever she goes as she was a part of the Golden Trio which she doesn't need at the moment.
Ginny was already talking to the receptionist when Hermione came back to the Hospital's lobby. She moved towards her friend, nudging her a bit to let her know she was there.
"Thank you," Ginny told the receptionist, getting a card from the witch.
"You are welcome," the older witch replied with a smile. Then, recognising the young witch beside her, she exclaimed: "You are Hermione Granger!"
Hermione blushed at the older witch, giving her a nod and a small smile.
"I want to thank you for everything you have done to help Mr. Potter save us all!" The older witch declared.
"You are welcome," Hermione replied embarrassingly, she just couldn't get use to people coming up to her to say their thank you's after the war had ended.
"We should be going now, thanks again," Ginny interrupted, wanting to take her best friend to the Healer who was assigned to them immediately. She pulled Hermione from the receptionist who was now shaking her hands.
"Bye," Hermione bid the excited witch. She was glad Ginny was with her, she did not want to appear rude to the older witch.
Ginny led her to the elevators, going to the Hospital's third floor dedicated to the Poisoning Department. She was advised by the Welcome Witch to check in first with Healer Mary if her friend was given a potion, if not they will go to the fourth floor to check if she was cursed.
