She's late, Draco thought irritatedly. It was already ten minutes past four in the afternoon, he was already at the bookshop for the past forty minutes, counting his early arrival.

He will give her just another five minutes, he told himself- no more, no less! He would not wait anymore after the time is up. His pride is still intact, and he would not let her think that he will be sniveling if she doesn't show up. It will just mean that she doesn't really think about him as important enough to meet him today.

He perused the books on the shelves, killing time until the five minutes is up.

Hermione entered Flourish and Blotts in a rush, almost bumping the woman exiting the shop. She apologized profusely to the older woman before she walked away from her. She scanned the bookshop for his familiar blond head which was a feat considering it was too crowded inside.

She hopes that he was still here waiting for her, knowing she was late. She checked the rows of shelves, hoping to find him.

Four-fifteen, that's it then, time to go. He will not look like a fool waiting anymore!

Hermione was about to enter the last row of bookshelf when she bumped into someone.

"I'm so sorry," she apologized to the black-robed person, not looking up.

"Granger," came the reply, making her look up.

"Malfoy!" She exclaimed happily, seeing he waited for her.

He just stood there looking at her, he looked stiff and angry, but there was something else in his eyes she could not read.

"I am so sorry, I did not mean to make you wait," she started. There was something fierce about his demeanor that makes her nervous.

Still he just stared at her. "I came here at Diagon Alley with Ginny and her parents," she tried to explain. "I have-," she did not finish her speech because suddenly Draco's lips was on her open mouth, kissing her hungrily.

Draco led her to the last row of shelves holding her captive, kissing her with such passion she could not help but moan.

After a few minutes, Draco released her lips but still holding on to her tightly. Hermione breathed deeply, oxygen finally entering her system properly.

"Have you broken up with the Weasel?" He asked her suddenly, his eyes intense.

She looked at him, still trying to catch her breath. "He knows what I've done with you," she whispered, bowing her head down, shame flooding her voice.

"You told him?" He asked surprised that she did, she's really courageous then, still staying with the Weasel's family after telling him.

"Yes, he knows about us, and Harry does too," she informs him. "Ron is really mad at me, and I don't blame him," she was still disgusted with herself for betraying him like that.

"Go home with me then," he commanded.

She looked up at him suddenly. "No, I need to talk to them again. They need to understand, even though I don't understand it myself," she replied. She just couldn't leave her friends, they are her only family left. "I think they haven't told anyone else within the family, I need to tell Ginny too before she hears it from her brother," she explained.

"What will you tell them exactly?" Draco asked slyly, wanting to know where he stands with her.

"I really don't know, Malfoy!" She exclaimed. "This is just too crazy! I don't really understand what is happening between us!"
