Hermione was still sobbing in Draco's arms when Harry Potter came down to the kitchens to have his breakfast before going to the Ministry of Magic."Hermione, are you alright?" Harry asked, moving towards them.
"Harry," Hermione called, moving away from Draco and hugging her best friend instead. "I am just so overwhelmed about everything. I don't know what to do," she confessed, silent tears still flowing from her eyes.
"I know this is hard, but you are not alone in this," the black haired boy told her sincerely, rubbing her back to soothe her.
"I don't think I have the right to come back to the Burrow," she said, voicing one of her fears. The Weasleys have always been her family in the Wizarding world, and she knows that they will all be hurt from her betrayal of Ron.
"Why? Are you already planning on telling them about your pregnancy?" Harry asked her.
"They deserve to know that if I will be staying with them. But I don't think I'm ready yet," she replied uncertainly.
"I know that it will be hard telling them. But you have me and Ginny to support you," Harry replied, he could not let her be alone in her situation. If only she had her parents to turn to, but they are still in Australia and have no memories of Hermione.
"But what will I tell them?" She asked desperately. "I can't just say, Molly, I am pregnant but not with your son's! Could I still please stay here so you can take care of me because I have no family of my own?!" She said sarcastically.
Draco just sat quietly, listening to their exchanges. He knows that it was all his fault that Hermione is in this predicament.
"Hermione, maybe we could tell Ron first," Harry suggested awkwardly.
"Ron is still mad at me, I don't think telling him of my pregnancy will make him forgive me," the brunette replied, untangling herself from Harry and sitting down. She's feeling tired again, all this drama stressing her out.
"Maybe Ron could become the father of your child instead," Ginny Weasley said from the doorway.
They all suddenly turned to her, not knowing she was already in the kitchen with them.
Draco suddenly stood up. "That is my child she is carrying with her!" He protested angrily. "No Weasley will be raising my child!" He sneered.
"My brother loves Hermione," Ginny stated. "He would accept the child as his own," she added, staring daggers at him. She knows that Hermione still has no idea on what to do with her problem yet, so maybe she could take her suggestion.
"I will not let that happen!" The blonde replied, his fists clenched.
"Ginny, please, stop! You are not helping," Harry pleaded to her.
Hermione sat there speechless at Ginny's suggestion.
"Why? That Death Eater should rot in Azkaban for violating Hermione! Her child deserves a better father than him!" She insisted, walking towards Hermione.
"Hermione, we could tell Ron that he r***d you and let the Ministry lock him up in Azkaban. I am sure my brother will take care of you and the baby," she said gently, sitting beside her.
"Ginny," the brunette started, shaking her head at her friend. "I would not let my child live in a lie," she told her.
"Then you will rather have your child know how you got pregnant? Do you honestly believe that Malfoy could turn away that easily from his beliefs? That he will be a good father to your child? That he truly accepts you?" Ginny asked.
