Hermione Granger could not think of a response. She silently glared at the blonde boy in front of her, who was also glaring back at her defiantly.

She's looking for any sign of deceit from him, after knowing what he did to her, how can she trust him?

Outside, Harry was restraining Ginny from entering the room. They could still hear nothing from the drawing room. He hopes that that was a good sign, that no violence have occurred yet.

Hermione took a deep breath, releasing the tension from her body. The stress will not be good for her child, their child. She moved to sit on one of the nearest armchairs, feeling tired already.

Draco watched her as she moved across the room, noticing her exhaustion. He decided to just keep silent and give her time to process what has been said between them. He slowly moved towards the chair opposite her, not wanting to anger her more if he moved too close to her.

Hermione tried to relax, but was still cautious. She knows that only the door separates her friends and her, so she closed her eyes for a bit in order to regain some energy.

The blonde boy just watched her, concern etched on his face. He knows that her pregnancy was the cause of her sudden tiredness, and he doesn't want anything bad to happen to her and their child so he just kept quiet.

After some minutes has passed, Hermione opened her eyes. She saw the concerned look on his face and she felt it warm her heart a little. Of course, she still did not trust him after everything he has done to her, but somewhere deep inside her, she hoped that he was telling the truth that he wanted her.

Seeing her open her eyes, he decided to let her rest for the night. "Granger, I think it's best that you should rest now. I better leave so you could sleep, we can talk again soon," he told her quietly.

"I'll call Kreacher to apparate you home," she agreed. She has no more energy left to continue their talk.

She started getting up, but nausea suddenly filled her and she started to faint. Draco saw her loose her balance, and quickly came over to catch her before she falls on the floor.

"Potter!" Draco shouted, panic rising in his chest.

Harry and Ginny immediately went inside the room when they heard his shout, the Extendable Ears thrown hastily as they saw Hermione unconscious in his arms.

"What did you do to her Ferret!" Ginny asked angrily. "Harry take Hermione, I will deal with him!" She ordered, getting her wand from her pocket.

"I did nothing! She just fainted!" Draco explained, not letting Harry take her from his arms.

"Give her to me, Malfoy. I'll take her to her room," Harry requested, he saw the concern on his face and realised that Malfoy actually cared for Hermione.

"I'll carry her," the blonde insisted, holding her tightly to him.

"Do you want me to hex you, Ferret?" Ginny asked angrily, pointing her wand at him.

"Ginny, stop. Let him carry her to the bedroom," Harry said calmly, putting his hand on her wand hand to lower it. "Please," he added, seeing her glare at him.

Ginny huffed, but placed her wand back on her pocket. She silently glared at both boys, then walked out of the room to lead them to the bedroom beside the drawing room she shared with Hermione.

"Come on," Harry said, motioning to Draco to follow them.

Draco followed them while Hermione was still unconscious on his arms. He gently laid her down on her bed, then sitting beside her sleeping form.

"You may leave now," Ginny ordered him quietly, her eyes filled with fire.

"No, I think I'll stay," Draco told her firmly, taking Hermione's hand in his.

"Don't touch her!" The redhead hissed back at him.

Harry just stood silently, a headache already starting because of the continuous bickering of the two.

"I will take care of her and our child," the blonde told her matter of factly, glaring back at Ginny.

When Ginny was about to respond, Harry interrupted her. "Ginny, please. Let's just go, let him take care of her," he requested, knowing that their continued exchanges might probably wake Hermione up.

"Harry, we can't leave her to him!" She argued, not wanting to budge.

"Come on, Gin. Hermione needs to rest," the black haired boy pleaded, pulling her towards the door.

"Malfoy, take care of her. Give her one of the pregnancy potion vials inside her nightstand once she wakes up, that will help her feel better," he instructed, still holding Ginny's hand. "Call Kreacher if you need us or anything," he added, pulling the glaring witch outside with him.

"Thank you, Potter," Draco replied gratefully before they closed the door.

When they were gone, he moved his attention back to the sleeping witch beside him. He checked her breathing, then tucked the blanket properly to keep her warm.

He figured, she will not like it if he stayed too close to her, so he pulled the chair from the desk nearby and placed it beside her bed. He sat on the uncomfortable wooden chair for a few minutes before deciding to charm it to be more suitable for him to sleep in, not that he will actually sleep with the ginger girl wanting to hex him.

He wanted to hold her and tell her that he will take care of her and their child. He also wanted to tell her that he will marry her and try to be the husband and father they deserve.

But he knows that she has not forgiven him yet, and he was willing to wait until she does. He is also willing to do anything for her and their child.

His eyes started closing after a few minutes of staring at his sleeping witch, his sleepless nights overcoming him.

Ginny was still fuming when Harry lead her to his bedroom at the second floor. Once he closed the door, he let go of his girlfriend.

"Why did you leave her with that evil Ferret after all he has done to her?!" She asked angrily.

Harry sat down on his bed, taking off his spectacles. "Ginny, please stop. You and I both know Hermione needs him right now. Let him take care of his family," he told her quietly.

"Why are you so calm about this?!" The redhead replied, still fuming. She didn't know who she wanted to hex more at this moment, her boyfriend or the Ferret.

"I'm trying to be calm for Hermione's sake. She needs to rest, and your bickering with Malfoy is not helping," he explained, rubbing his temples. "Please, don't be mad at me. We both want what's best for her," he added, lying down on his bed.

"You are letting him stay in the same room as her, with her unconscious? What kind of best friend are you?" Ginny asked scathingly.

"If you want to go back downstairs, fine. I need to sleep now, I still have work tomorrow. But please, don't argue with Malfoy anymore, let Hermione sleep," he told her, closing his eyes and moving sideways to face the wall instead.

"I hate you, Potter," the redhead hissed angrily. If he would not guard Hermione, then she will.
