Summer

Gabriella's POV

Yessss, it was finally the first day of summer, I had only been at school in America for 7 weeks, but the 7 weeks of school felt like a life time, but don't get my wrong it was good, but I'm glad to be off, Mama is going to be at work a lot but when she's not she said that she has lots of activities planned and she said something about a trip away, she won't tell me where it is but I'm pretty sure it's Italy, I really hope it's Italy. And the days where mama is at work I'll either be going to Sofia's and Zola, i will do something with uncle Andrew or if non of them are free I'll either hang out at the hospital or with the nanny. So I think it's going to be a very good summer. However today, mama has the day off and we are going to spend it together, she says that we are going to have a picnic and headed to the lake so we can play in the water, it sounds super fun.

I rolled over onto my side to look at my clock and it says 7:30 am, plus my stomach starts to rumble so I know it's time for breakfast, so I hopped out of bed. Brushed my hair though and put of some clothes for the day, I went with a nice red dress, before a headed down stairs.

As I headed down the stairs I could hear that mama was in the kitchen so I walked in, but that was mama who was stood at the side making coffee. "Maya?" I said as I rubbed my eyes to double check it was her. As soon as I said her name she turned around, and I was right, it was her. "Oh- I.... Ummmm hi Gabriella... I was, I was just, just making coffee" she told me. "What are you doing here, have you been here all night ?" I asked her as she looked down to try to make up an excuse, but I knew that she had been here all night, and I knew exactly where, in mamas bed. "Ummmm... I.... Nope, I just came over, me and your mama are having coffee" she told me. "Okay... so you came over here at 7:30 in the morning to have coffee with my mama, in my mamas clothes, makes complete sense" I told her as she went bright red in the face. "Okay miss smarty pants, you got me, what are you doing up at this time anyways" she questioned me. "Well I'm hungry, I was going to ask mama to make me something but obviously she's a but busy, so I'll just grab a banana until she's ready" I tell her as I grab a banana off the side, heading back upstairs, leaving Maya just stood there.

Maya's POV

I can't believe what just happened, like she actually caught me in her kitchen, in her moms clothes making coffee, who knew a child would be up so early, and a very smart one she is, she literally saw through all of my lies, I know I'm not very good at them but she's only 10.

Anyways one I finished making the coffees for me and Carina I quickly made my way back upstairs to where Carina was. Once I made it up there I pushed open the door and placed the coffees on the table. "I think I may have just outed us." I told her. "What" she says to me as she sits up while I pass her her coffee. "Well I was downstairs making the coffees and I heard a noice so I turned around and there was Gabriella stood right there, she started to question me why I was here and I tried to get myself out of it but she didn't believe me and saw right through my lies" I told her scared about what she would say, but to my surprise she just burst out laughing. "Stop laughing, I was scared, your daughter is very scary, I'm pretty sure my face went bright red and then she just grabbed a banana and left me standing there looking like an idiot, oh and your daughter is hungry" I told her. "Oh woman up, my daughter is not scary and anyways it's not like she dislikes you, she'll get over it, only if I make her food, because you don't want to see her hangry, it's kinda funny actually" she says to me as she gets out of bed and goes to the door. "Are you coming or not" she says to me.

I quickly got up and then followed her down to the kitchen while she started to make breakfast I was was sat on a chair watching her. "GABRIELLA" she shouted once she was done. "BREAKFAST" she called. And shortly after Gabriella came running down and into the kitchen. "Oh your still here, I thought you would have gone after your adult sleepover, normally after them the other person doesn't stay, but looks like you are not a runner, good for you. And are you guys like a thing now or not" she said really sassy. "Gabriella be nice, and ummmm me and Maya are, we are not together but we are dating, happy now ?" Carina said to her. "Yeah I guess so, and oh Maya, if you hurt my mama I will hurt you, I may be small but I'm really feisty, so watch out" she said to me before she started to eat. Me and carina just started laughing. "Well I promise that I will not hurt her then." I said smiling as carina gave me some breakfast.
