Adrenaline

Carina's POV

I was having the best dream ever, me and Maya were in bed and well you know, I think you can figure out the rest from there when I was suddenly woke up when I giant lump jumped on top of both Maya and I.

"Buongiorno!!!!" Gabriella shouted as she shuffled inbetween me and Maya as I tried turning onto my side tried to get back to sleep. "Good morning Ella Bella, someone is excited for our big day" Maya said excitedly. "What are we doing anyway" I asked. "It's a surprise" they both shouted at me. "Fine fine" I said trying to fall back to sleep. "3,2,1" I heard Maya whisper before they both start hitting me with pillows. "I'm up I'm up" I said sitting up. "Good" Gabriella said "we have a big day !!! Mom said I can choose what we do today, so I chose McDonald's breakfast!!" She said which did actually sound pretty good so I look at Maya hoping she would offer to go pick it up and bring it back. And I think she got the message. "Fine I'll go get it" she said getting up and putting on a pair of jeans and hoodie. "Thank you bambina, I'll have a sausage and egg muffin meal with an espresso" I said with a smile on my face. "And I'll have a sausage and egg McGriddle meal with a caramel iced latte with an extra hash brown" Gabriella said as we both looked at her. "Someone's hungry" Maya said to her. "Well yeah, plus it tastes so much better if you put the extra hash brown in the sandwich, it's so good!!" She told us as I wondering if I did actually taste better. "Go on then, I'll have an extra one too" I said to Maya. "Okie dokie, breakfast is coming right up" she said as she walked out the room and headed to McDonald's.

"How have you been bambina?" I asked Gabriella since I realised I have not actually asked her how she had been doing since her uncle passed, we were both struggling and I had been making it all about me. "I'm fine mama, why do you ask" she said to me. "Well Id like to apologise for how I have been, we have both lost someone very close to use and you are my bambina and I've just been thinking about myself and never asked you how you are doing." I said to her with a tear. Before she responded to snuggled closer towards me. "I'm doing fine mama, I promise, I wasn't, I needed to some time but now I'm fine, I still cry every day before I fall asleep but it's helping me, I'm going back to volleyball and I have a big game coming up, so I'm focusing on that" she tells me before I hug her tightly.

"IM BACK" Maya shouts from the kitchen. "I'm glad bambina and if you ever want to talk you know mom and I are here for you, and even if you don't want to talk to us the guys at the firehouse are always there for you, and now we better move mom is back and I'm starving" I tell her as we both start to get up and head downstairs to get breakfast.

"Thank you baby" I say to Maya as I kiss her on the cheek and sit down to start eating. "Gabriella the hashbrown in the muffin is absolutely amazing, this is the best McDonald's I've had !!" I say in excitement.

Once we had finished I needed to find out where we were going, it's killing me !!!! "Can you tell me where we are going then ?" I asked again, and again they reply with "NOO", "fine then, when do I need to wear. "Well I'm going to wear my gym leggings and a jumper" Gabriella tell me. "Me too" Maya then says. "Okay great" I say.

About an hour later we were on the road on the way to our 'fun' day out and I can't still figure out where we are going.

"We are here" Maya says as she putting into a carpark next to a giant bridge over a river next to a sign that says bungee jumping. "I'm sorry Gabriella for what I'm about to say, but FUCK NO IM NOT BUNGEE JUMPING !!! THAT BRIDGE IS FUCKING MASSIVE, Gabriella would never do that either, you are ok your own Maya!!" I shouted. "Mama I'm 13, don't you think I swear when I'm not around you, anyways it was my idea, so we are doing it, no arguments" she tells me and somehow I just say, "okay" shit, I'm scared I don't think I can do it.

Once we went through the safety briefing and got harnessed up we were ready to jump. Thankfully we could all jump at the same time. The instructor starts to say. "3,2,1" and before I knew it I was jumping off the biggest bridge I've seen in my life. "AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I screen as I went flying down.

When I finally stopped screaming, which was a while I must admit, I looked over at Maya and gabriella to see that they were having so much fun and they put a smile on my face.

"THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!" Gabriella screamed when she finally got to the top. "The adrenaline rush was real !!!" Maya said after her. "I mean I wouldn't say that, it was scary, like really scary, the most scared I've been in my life !!" I said after them as they both laughed. "It's not funny !!" I said. "Come on mama it was, you scream like a baby" Gabriella said as Maya laughter at her. "Why don't we let mama choose what we have for dinner, make her feel better." Maya suggested. "Good idea" Gabriella replied. "Well I chose pizza then" I said. "Yay!!!!" Gabriella then replied, I think she was happy about my decision.

Maya's POV

Once we got home Gabriella headed straight to her room, carina went to do whatever she does in her free time while looked over our account, it was all going fine, random take outs her and then I found a transaction for 10 GRAND, 10 FUCKING GRAND.... "CARINA GET YOUR ASS IN HERE RIGHT NOW !!!" I scream from the living room. 30 seconds later she appeared. "What, is everything okay."she said calmly. "You spend 10,000 dollars!!!!, 10 THOUSAND DOLLARS !!" I shouted at her. "I just brought a bag that's all" she again said calmly. "You spend 10 thousand dollars on bag, this is both of our money, I don't even make that amount of money in 2 months !!! you should have asked me first" I said angrily. "Bella come on, I just wanted to treat myself that's all, I don't need to ask you every time I buy something." She replied. "Don't Bella me carina, obviously you don't need to ask me, but when you buy a bag for 10 grand which you could get one from target for 100 bucks, I don't even want to see you anymore, get out." I shouted. "So your kicking me out of my house, great, absolutely great" she shouted that. "OUR HOUSE CARINA, OUR HOUSE, and yes I am, I don't want to look at you anymore, we hardly have anything left in our account, we could have taken Gabriella on holiday, or god forbid something happened, what would we do then !!! Just get out" I shouted, I just so angry, how could she spend all our money. "Fine fine I'm going, but I will be back !!" She shouted as she grabbed her keys and stormed out of her door. I don't even know how to react, I'm just so angry !! I need to go for a run, I run upstairs, changed my clothes and headed out the door, I don't know where I was going, I just ran.

Gabriella's POV

I hate when they fight, I don't know what they were fighting about, but I know it was hug when I heard mom shout get out and mama left slamming the door. I tear left my eye.

Mama left about about 2 hours ago followed my mom who I assumed she went for a run. It was getting late and I was hungry, mama said pizza for dinner and that's what I'll have, I got my phone and ordered pizza off moms card from Uber, because like what 13 year old has money. I decided on a vegetable pizza with loads and loads of cheese. I was so hungry so I hoped it would come soon.

After about 30 mins I headed down stairs to wait for the pizza, my stomach was just rumbling and rumbling . Until I heard a knock at the door. Finally, I said to myself, as I opened the door to get the pizza and tipping the delivery guy. I hadn't even took my first bite when mom came through the door. "It must have been a big fight, you have been gone almost 3 hours" I said to her. "Yeah sweetie it was, I don't think mama is coming home tonight, she spent a lot of our money on something stupid, I'm so sorry we are fighting." She said to me, "it's okay mom, I get adults fight, she will be back tomorrow right ?" I ask. "Of course", she responded. "Okay" I said not really knowing to say, i was actually pretty upset but I was not going to let it show. "Pizza?" I offered to Maya. "Sure" she said sitting down and eating. Nothing else was said the whole night.
