Scarlett's Daughter [COMPLETED]

Chapter Two

April 2013

It has been one month since baby Melanie was born, Scarlett and Romain love her so much and will protect her with all they have.

Right now Scarlett is sitting on the couch in her and Romain's living room in their massive house in the rich neighbourhood off New York with Melanie in her arms while she is feeding her.

Melanie is looking up to Scarlett while she suckles on her mother's nipple for her milk, Scarlett is looking down and smiling at her baby girl.

"Hey my beautiful babies"Romain walks in and kisses the back of Scarlett's head before walking around the couch and sitting beside her kissing Melanie's head.

"Hello baby"Scarlett says leaning in for a kiss, they kiss gently before pulling away admiring their daughter.

"I can't believe we made her"Scarlett whisper gently admiring her daughter feeding.

"I know she is just adorable"Romain says admiring the sight in front of him.

"I have to go for a meeting tomorrow will you be ok having Melanie for the day?"Scarlett asks her fiancé.

"Of course I will be ok having Melanie for the day, I know how to look after my own daughter honey"Romain smiles at Scarlett being worried for her daughter.

Scarlett nods and leans into Romain as he puts on the TV and they watch their favourite show, Scandal.

Melanie has just finished feeding and now Scarlett is burping her, she has the cloth over her shoulder as she holds Melanie up to her shoulder and pats her back until she lets out a little burp.

"Good job baby girl"Scarlett praises her daughter and cradles her in her arms waiting for her to fall asleep.

Scarlett hums 'Fireflies' as she rocks her baby girl in her arms until she falls asleep.

Scarlett carefully stands up and goes into her bedroom and lays Melanie in her crib beside her and Romain's bed before walking out quietly.

"Hey baby, Melanie's asleep in her crib upstairs"Scarlett says walking into the kitchen and wrapping her arms around Romain's waist from the back.

"That's good baby, I heard you humming, you always seem to him that song to her and it always makes her fall asleep. It's cute"Romain says turning around and kissing her head.

"What you making for dinner?"Scarlett ask smiling at the comment.

"Chicken curry"Romain says turning around to continue making the dinner.

"That sounds amazing baby, I just have to go and get my things ready for tomorrow for my meeting"Scarlett says kissing Romain's neck before leaving the room.

She walks upstairs to her bedroom and grabs a pair of black tight jeans, a white blouse, a pair of black high heels boots and a silver necklace and a diamond bracelet.

She lays them on the little area in her closet for tomorrow. She walks out of her closet and over to her sleeping baby, she looks at her and smiles before kissing her head softly and walking out of the room once again.

Scarlett and Romain eat their dinner on the couch while watching Scandal before heading to bed because they are quite tired from having a one month old baby.

They really love parenthood but it can be stressful and tiring sometimes.
