Scarlett's Daughter [COMPLETED]

Chapter Twenty - Eight

March 2014

Scarlett and Elizabeth wake up late that morning from their previous activities the night before, they need to get ready and go and get Melanie from Romain's house in another 2 hours.

"Hey babe come on let's get ready so we can pick up Melanie from Romain's house"Elizabeth says gently shaking Scarlett awake.

Scarlett groans and nods before sitting up in the bed, "how are you feeling honey?"Elizabeth ask gently stroking Scarlett's stomach.

"Really good but my back hurts and my legs"Scarlett says making Elizabeth smirk, Scarlett playfully hits Elizabeth's arm making her chuckle.

"Come on then lovely"Elizabeth says getting out of bed and walking over to Scarlett's side to pull her out of the bed gently so she doesn't hurt her.

Elizabeth guides Scarlett to the bathroom where she runs the shower while Scarlett does her business on the toilet.

"Are you excited for your new baby?"Elizabeth asks Scarlett as she washes her hands in the sink, "I can't wait, I love having my little dancing queen but I can't wait for her to have a little brother or sister as well and they are so close in age and I hope that they will get along"Scarlett tells Elizabeth, Elizabeth agrees with Scarlett and helps her into the shower.

"You know I'll be there helping you every step of the way lovely"Elizabeth tells Scarlett while she massages the shampoo into Scarlett's hair causing Scarlett to let out a sigh and she relaxes back into Elizabeth.

"Thank you Lizzie, I couldn't have done it without you, I have only known you for a month but I have fallen madly in love with you"Scarlett admits to Elizabeth, Scarlett turns to Elizabeth to see her smiling widely.

"I have fallen madly in love with you too Scarlett Ingrid Johansson"Elizabeth admits leaning down to kiss Scarlett's plump pink lips. Scarlett melts into the kiss wrapping her arms around Elizabeth's neck while Elizabeth puts her hands on Scarlett's waist pulling her closer.

"Can I ask you a question?"Elizabeth asks Scarlett pulling away from the kiss slowly, Scarlett nods her head looking into Elizabeth's eyes.

"Would you like to be my girlfriend Scarlett"Elizabeth asks with a hopeful tone, Scarlett's face lights up and she smiles widely.

"Of course I will Lizzie!"Scarlett shouts quickly kissing Elizabeth, Elizabeth smiles into the kiss and they pull away and hug each other tight.

"How about we go and get that baby of yours huh?"Elizabeth suggests making Scarlett giggle and nod. The two finish in the shower and get dressed before getting into the car and driving to Romain's house to get Melanie.

Elizabeth and Scarlett pull up outside Romain's house and get out of the car, the new couple walk up to the front door hand in hand and knock at the door.

They hear cries from inside the house and immediately know it's Melanie, Romain opens the door with a tired face and messed hair.

"Please just take her I can't deal with her anymore she has been crying non stop since 3am"Romain complains, Scarlett barges past him and goes to Melanie while Elizabeth gathers all of Melanie's things.

"Hey baby girl it's okay mama's here now"Scarlett whispers softly to her crying daughter, Melanie continues to cry which worries Scarlett.

"Liz I don't know what's wrong with her!"Scarlett exclaims to Elizabeth from across the room.

"Check her temperature she could have a fever"Elizabeth suggest zipping up Melanie's bag and walking over to Scarlett and Melanie.

Scarlett puts her hand on Melanie's forehead and it is very hot, "Yep she has a temperature, thanks for watching her Romain but we have to go"Scarlett says quickly rushing out to the car with Melanie in her arms.

Elizabeth gets into the car quickly while Scarlett sits in the back with Melanie trying to calm her down the best she could, "Where are we going?"Elizabeth asks Scarlett, "Hospital please"Scarlett says as calmly as she can, Melanie hasn't been sick before and she is only a baby.

Elizabeth nod and drives to the hospital, Scarlett gets out of the car and unbuckles Melanie bringing her into the hospital with Elizabeth beside her, the two don't care about people taking pictures or the paparazzi because all they care about it little baby Melanie.

"Hello what seems to be the problem?"A nurse asks Scarlett as they walk into the hospital, "My baby has a temperature and she is only one and hasn't been sick like ever"Scarlett explains quickly to the nurse, the nurse smiles and nod before directing Scarlett towards a private room.

"The doctor will be in, in two minutes"The nurse says before leaving the room after getting all the machines ready.

Two minutes later the doctor walks in, it is a male doctor and he looks like a very good one.

"So I hear your baby has a temperature and has never been sick before am I correct?"He asks in a soft tone, Scarlett nods still trying to calm a crying Melanie down.

"Is it okay if I could do some test on her to make sure everything is okay?"The doctor asks, Scarlett nods and the doctor runs some tests before telling Scarlett that it is just a common cold and should pass in a couple of days.

Melanie has now tired herself out and has fallen asleep in Scarlett's arms, Scarlett looks at her little baby girl and smiles before kissing her head.

Scarlett really does worry about her little girl and maybe a bit too much but she loves her little girl and wants to keep her safe and healthy no matter what.
