Scarlett's Daughter [COMPLETED]

Chapter Forty - Four

February 2015

SCARLETT'S POV:

Today is Elizabeth's birthday and I know that she is very excited to spend her birthday with me and the girls and she said she just wants a chill birthday, no party, no family members just us which I'm not going to disagree with I think that it is great idea.

I woke up to Rose crying so I went in and fed her, I went into Melanie's room after feeding Rose and see her see her laying in her crib awake.

"Morning baby girl, you ready to go and say happy birthday to mommy and wake her up"I ask her and tickle her stomach making her laugh, "Ya mama!"She squeals and I pick her up and bring her into me and Elizabeth's room to see her fast asleep drooling all over her pillow making me laugh.

I put Melanie and Rose on the bed and Melanie crawls to Elizabeth and Rose looks at me and I place her on top of Elizabeth and they both start to bounce on top of her making her wake up and wipe away her drool.

"Happy Birfday Mommy!"Melanie shouts and Elizabeth smiles and starts to tickle both of the girls, "Thank you girlies, I'm guessing mama told you two to do this?"Elizabeth asks looking at the girls and then looking at me and Melanie and Rose giggle.

We all get up and head downstairs to have some breakfast, we all sit in the living room and eat except for Rose since she already got fed, I feed Melanie and she keeps making faces because she wants to annoy me which it is just making me laugh.

She really is a cheeky monkey sometimes but isn't everyone?, We all finish our breakfast and we ask Elizabeth what she wants to go now, "I wanna go on a morning with all of my favourite girls"She says and I nod and we both bring the girls upstairs to get ready, we all get ready and then head out for a walk,  Melanie wants to walk but she is holding my hand and Rose is in her stroller.

We all walk around until we get to Central Park and we all walk around and Melanie is having so much fun as she skips along beside me, Rose is just fascinated by all the trees and cherry blossoms.

She really is my daughter, she loves nature and so do I and so does Elizabeth.

We stop at the playground and we all play for around an hour before we all decide to go home, we head back home and the girls are worn out and so me and Elizabeth put them down for a nap.

We both sit on the couch and cuddle while watching tv just enjoying the quiet time until around 2 hours we hear cries from upstairs so I tell Elizabeth that I will go and get her because she needs to relax, it is her birthday after all.

I walk upstairs and into Rose's room to see her crying in her crib, "Hey baby what's wrong?"I ask even though I know she won't be able to answer me, she snuggles into me making me realise she just wanted cuddles and she lays in my arms just observing the place.

I walk into Melanie's room and wake her up gently and then pick her up and bring the both of my daughters downstairs to their other mother.

Melanie makes grabby hands for Elizabeth so I pass her over to her and she snuggles into her, we all sit on the couch and watch tv until lunch time.

I make us all lunch and then feed Rose while we eat, it defiantly is a chill day, I go and grab Elizabeth's presents after I clean up lunch and she was really happy with all of them.

I then order us some Chinese when it comes to dinner time since it was Elizabeth's choice and then we all eat it while I feed Rose again, we then do the cake and then it gets close to Rose's bedtime so I bring her up to bed and then I go back downstairs to see Melanie in Elizabeth's arms while suckling on her bottle.

Soon Melanie falls asleep and we replace the bottle with a pacifier and we both head upstairs to put her to bed before we go into our room and do some... adult stuff.
