Scarlett's Daughter [COMPLETED]

Chapter Fifteen

December 2013

The family of three are sitting around the Christmas tree while Melanie opens her presents. She has gotten a couple of new outfits, some toys, a blanket and a little bracelet that Romain got her.

Scarlett and Romain exchange their gifts while Melanie is sat on her mama's lap playing with one of her new toys.

She also got a little car that she drive around, she can't drive it herself yet since she is only 9 months old.

"Romain we are going to my mom's later for dinner so can you clean up while I get our breakfast ready?"Scarlett asks Romain who is sitting down and watching television while Melanie is sitting beside him and trying to look like him while he isn't paying attention.

Scarlett comes over and takes a quick picture before picking Melanie up and bringing her into the kitchen so Romain can clean up the living room.

Scarlett puts Melanie in her baby carrier and straps it onto her front because lately Melanie is not liking the highchair.

Scarlett makes the breakfast and Romain walks in and smiles and his fiancé and baby girl dancing, Scarlett is dancing around the kitchen with Melanie in her arms and out of the baby carrier.

She dances around to single ladies by Beyoncé, Melanie is giggling while watching her mama sing to her, Melanie starts to sway side to side with Scarlett making Scarlett smile even more.

"All the single ladies, all the single ladies, all the single ladies, all the single ladies, all the single ladies, all the single ladies, all the single ladies, now put your hands up"Scarlett sings until the song is finished and she then hears clapping from the kitchen door making her jump.

"That was adorable baby"Romain say smiling making his way over to Scarlett and kissing and Melanie.

The family of three make it to Scarlett's mothers house.

"Hello my mini Melanie"Melanie says taking baby Melanie out of Scarlett's arms.

"Hey mom we're here too"Scarlett says smiling a little to her mother.

"Oh yea hey, merry Christmas come on in"Melanie says moving aside to let Scarlett and Romain into the house without even looking at them, she just continues to babble with baby Melanie.

Everyone eventually gets here and sits down on the couch and exchanged gifts. They do baby Melanie's gifts first.

Baby Melanie opens her gifts like the wild child she is and everyone video's the moment to remember.

"Can I try something real quick Scar?"Hunter asks as he walks in with something behind his back. Scarlett looks at him and hesitantly nods.

Hunter makes his way over to baby Melanie and sits beside her on the floor while baby Melanie sits on Scarlett's lap.

He pulls out a box of tissues making everyone even more confused, he hands it to baby Melanie and she starts to rip out all the tissues like there is going to be something amazing at the bottom.

She continues to rip them out until she finds something at the bottom of the box, Scarlett takes her hand away and takes the thing out.

"Hunter no you didn't"Scarlett says smiling at the thing in her hand, "no you didn't!"She shouts as she stands up handing baby Melanie to Romain who was sitting beside her on the couch.

She runs up to Hunter and jumps into his arms, she whispers a small thank you into his ear.

"What is it?"Romain asks as baby Melanie plays with his hair.

"He got us tickets to Disney Land and Universal Studios for a holiday in the summer"Scarlett says walking back over to Romain and baby Melanie.

"Oh my god thanks bro"Romain gets up off the couch and hugs Hunter with baby Melanie in his arms giggling happily.

"No problem I though you guys could use a little family vacation"Hunter says smiling.

Everyone continues to open presents and then they all eat dinner.

Baby Melanie is sat on Scarlett's lap exhausted from today and because she had a little tantrum about the highchair at dinner time.

Scarlett changed baby Melanie into her pjs earlier since it was getting late and close to her bed time.

Everyone is sat on the couch watching Christmas movies while baby Melanie sleeps in Scarlett's arms until everyone has to go home.

Everyone though it was a great first Christmas for baby Melanie.
