Chapter Forty - One

November 2014

SCARLETT'S POV:

Today is my birthday and I am turning 30 years old, I am excited because this will be the first birthday with my real family.

I woke up this morning to Melanie jumping on me and Elizabeth standing there while placing Rose down on my chest away from where Melanie was bouncing.

"Happy Birfday Mama!"Melanie shouts making me smile widely, "Thank you baby girl"I say and I pull her down to lay beside Rose.

I kiss both their noses and Elizabeth pouts, "I don't get a kiss on my nose?"She asks sadly, "Of course you do sweetie, come here"I say to Elizabeth and walks over and bends down so I can kiss her nose.

She smiles when I kiss her nose, "Thank you"She says and hugs me making me smile, "No problem sweetie"I say and smile to her looking into her eyes, she bends down and kisses me on the lips.

"I'll be back in two minutes"Elizabeth says and she walks out of the room and attack Melanie and Rose with tickles causing the both of them to burst out into giggles.

"I'm back!"Elizabeth announces and we all look to her to see she has a tray full of food, I smile and place the girls on the bed beside me, Elizabeth sits down beside the girls and places the tray in the middle of the bed as we all start to tuck in except for rise because she is only 3 months old.

I feed Rose while eating and Elizabeth helps Melanie eat and she eats herself, we all put on my favourite movie that is appropriate for Melanie and Rose to watch.

We all sit in my bed and watch tv for the rest of the morning before I head for a shower and Elizabeth looks after the girls, Melanie is playing with Rose the best she can because Rose is only 3 months old and Melanie is 1 year old.

I walk out of the bathroom and smile at my girls playing and Elizabeth just sitting there making sure they don't hurt each other, I get changed and Elizabeth stares at me while I dry myself making me laugh.

"Don't worry you'll be getting this later"I say and she blushes and continues to stare at me, more specifically my boobs and my vagina, I laugh and she just continue getting changed.

I finish changing and me and Elizabeth clean up while the girl's play in the play pen in the living room.

I am happy that Melanie gets to play with Rose somehow now which is blowing raspberry's on her little sisters tummy or tickling her, I go and play with the girls because Elizabeth insisted that I relax and have fun since it's my birthday.

I sit on the couch and both my girls play on the floor in front of me, occasionally Melanie will look up to me making me smile because she is making sure that I am still here.

Elizabeth finishes cleaning up and comes back in and hands me some presents, I open them all and I see many amazing presents.

"Your family is in LA right now and we are going to have a party in our house for you and Hunter and they can't wait to see Melanie and meet Rose"Elizabeth tells me making me excited to see my family since I haven't seen them in ages.

We all chill for the whole day until it is time to get ready for the party, I get ready while Elizabeth gets the girls ready before getting herself ready, I love that she is being so helpful, ever since she helped me after catching Romain I have fallen deeply in love with her.

Everyone makes it and we all hug and greet each other, everyone is obsessing over Melanie and Rose making me and Elizabeth smile at how they are getting so much attention.

Melanie doesn't seem to like the attention so she comes over to me and Elizabeth and Elizabeth picks her up and holds her in her arms, I rub her back slightly.

You can see the difference between the two girls from this one thing, Melanie hates attention from big crowds and she just doesn't like bug crowds but Rose is the total opposite, Melanie is very like me in that sense and Rose is a lot like her father.

We all dance and eat cake before everyone has to go, me, Elizabeth and the girls fall asleep in our bed and we are all cuddled up together.

This has been one of the best birthdays ever.
