Tessa POV

I rummaged through my suitcase trying to find something decent to wear. I let out a frustrated groan when I couldn't find anything.

I suddenly found myself tilting my whole suitcase over, making all the clothes come tumbling out. Yeah, I did that when I couldn't find something; it was a sign I was getting frustrated. My hands searched the pile of clothed until I managed to pull out a white summer dress.

How was I suppose to know I was going on a date?! In Hawaii? I mean if I did, I was probably only getting my hopes up.

I tilted my head to the side as I observed the dress. It was elegant but casual.

Oh well, it will have to do. I thought to myself.

I glanced at the clock that read 6:30.

"Shoot." I mumbled and quickly scurried to the bathroom where I had to do my hair and make up.

I looked at myself in the mirror once I was finished. My dark hair flowed in spirals and my make up was earthy colors. I looked decent enough for the date, so with that I switched off the bathroom light and walked towards the door.

I decided to leave the kitchen light on in case Joey arrived at the room.

I walked to the reception where Michael had told me to meet him.

I looked around for Michael as I patiently waited for him by the bench.

"My word you are beautiful."

The voice suddenly startled me. I spun around quickly meeting those beautiful Hazel eyes. A smile broke onto my face.

"Michael" I breathed. I couldn't help but observe his appearance. He was wearing a white buttoned up shirt with black pants. His blonde hair was swept to the side.

"You don't look so bad yourself." I smiled. Michael smiled ear to ear.

"Thank you" he replied.

"So uh, are you ready to go?" He hooked out his arm. I let out a soft chuckle.

"I was born ready" I smiled as I looped my arm around his.

"A cooking class?!" I shrieked.

"Yeah, do you like it?" He asked scratching his neck nervously.

"Are you kidding?! I LOVE IT!" I jumped as I pulled him into a hug.

"My family and best friend say that I'm the worst cook in the world." I muttered grumpily.

Michael laughed. "Well now you can learn to be the second best." Michael winked.

"Second best?" I raised an eyebrow.

He shrugged. "Yes cause I'm the best"

I burst out laughing. "Sure you are." I patted him on the back and made my way to one of the counters.

A tanned man with a goatee walked to the counter that was facing us.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen, my name is Gert."

"Hiiiii Gert!" Michael screamed. Gert stopped and frowned at him; ignoring Michael before contnuing.

"Tonight I will be teaching you how to make some magnificent Hawaiian food."

"Rude" Michael muttered loud enough for Gert to hear. Gert shot him a glare making me laugh.

"First of we will be making the Emerilized Hawaiian Poke. So partners grab 2 table spoons of chilli sauce..." We all did as we were told and continued to listen to him as he gave instructions.
