The sun was blinding my eyes forcing me to wake up. I sat up, wiping the sleep out my eyes and letting out a seal stretch sound. I suddenly remembered that Joey was there. As if a reflex, I slapped my hand over my mouth and looked at the pillow and thin blanket that was on the ground but no Joey. I let out a sigh of relief that he didn't hear my embarrassing yawn.

I climbed out of bed and walked to the kitchen. I opened the cabinet , grabbing myself a bowl then making cereal. I leaned against the counter and began chewing on the cereal in a haze. Suddenly the bathroom door swung open, Joey had his swimming shorts on. He still had bed hair but oh my word, it was perfect. Wait what?

Joey walked into the kitchen not even noticing my presence.

"Morning" I said awkwardly.

Joey looked at me, and just replied with a nod. Yeah he was definitely still mad at me. But who can blame him? The poor guy is forced to sleep on the floor.

Joey walked to the fridge and opened it, taking out a bottle of water. As he did this I couldn't help but stare at his fit back. It was just so tanned and well defined. I quickly shook my thoughts and went back to eating my Captain Crunch.

Joey jugged the water making the water bottle crunch. I couldn't help but be observant as I watched him intently. Gosh I can see why girls fall for him.

Joey just dropped the empty bottle then began walking away.

Nevermind I take back what I said. I can't understand why they fall for him.

"Aren't you going to pick that up?" I raised an eyebrow. Joey stopped and looked at the bottle that lay on the floor.

He tapped his chin with his index finger, as he pretended to think. "Hmmmm....." He continued for what seemed like forever.

Then looked at me. "Nope" He simply said, popping the 'p'

The nerve of this boy!!!!

"Joey! Pick it up!"

"No" He grinned. I was slowly losing it with this boy.

"Joey! Pick it up this instant!" I slammed my hand on the counter.

Gosh I sound like a mom don't I?

A smirk flashed across his face.

"Yes mommy" he cooed.

Anger welled up in me.

" Jerk!" I ran picking the bottle up and chucking it at Joey. But Joey just chuckled as he dodged it swiftly.

"Catch you later Tess" he winked before heading to the door.

"Wait!" I called. Joey turned around.

"Where you going?" I heard myself ask.

"Surfing." He replied with a casual shrug.

"Can I come?" I asked with a smile.

"Sure" He replied slowly. Yeah I probably creeped him out with my sudden mood change. But I was really excited for surfing, okay?

I got up, grabbed my costume and rushed to the bathroom to get dressed. When I was done, we left straight for the beach.

We arrived at the beach, it was quite busy. A whole bunch of teenager boys were playing volleyball. It was a good view I might add. *drool*

I was so fascinated by the game, I watched closely as they hit the ball between each other. The one boy tried aiming to hit it over the net, he failed and hit it into a diagonal direction.
